Harvey A. Farris and Hester E. Merrell, both of Schuyler County, married there April 13, 1873.

In 1880 Schuyler County, Missouri, Harvey A. Farris is 39, born in Kentucky, with Hester E. 46, also Kentucky - he's a photographer, and they have Imogene Cochran stepdaughter, 23, born in Missouri, and Myrtle B. Farris 14, born in Missouri.

Myrtle Belle Farris married J. E. Mott Dec 22, 1884 in Schuyler County, Missouri.

Margaret Virginia Ann EWING, b. 23 Nov 1843, Ewington, Gallia County, Ohio, d. about 1870. Married: about 1863, Harvey A. FARRIS, b. Oct 1838 - Kentucky. After Margaret's death, Harvey married again and then a third time to Margaret's sister, America.
 
          America, 49, and Harvey, 46, were married in Missouri in 1884. Harvey was born in October 1838 in Kentucky, and may have been the son of Dudley FARRIS, born in 1812 in Kentucky and who was found in the 1870 Schuyler County census.
 
          America and Harvey went to Arkansas, but 8 year old Hiram remained in Missouri with his uncle, William EWING, who took care of him from then on.
 
          By the time of the 1900 census, Harvey and America had moved to Prairie Township of Madison County, Arkansas. Harvey was a boot and shoemaker. There were just the two of them. It was the same in the 1910 census. America's address in 1913 was Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas, and Springdale is where America's daughter, Frances Terry POWELL, and her family lived. America spent her last years with the Powells. It was from Springdale in 1913 that America sent a contribution to the Mary McNeill Ewing Memorial Fund - $1.00 for herself, 50 cents for her daughter Frances and 50 cents for granddaughter Madge CARRELL.

In 1900 Madison County, Arkansas, Harvey A. Farris born Oct 1838 in Kentucky, is married 36 years to America E., March 1835 Ohio.  She's had six kids, 5 living.

But in 1910 Madison County, they've been married twenty years, and this is the third marriage for both.

Harvey A. Farris 1838-1915 is buried in Springdale, Arkansas.

Myrtle B. Mott, 35 and Jay E. Mott, a railroad contractor, 35, both born in Missouri, are in Chicago in 1900.  They have E. Lester 15 Missouri and Harvey F. Mott, 13, born in Colorado.

Belle F. Mott is divorced in 1910 Chicago, with Lester 24, Harvey 22, both electricians,  and Harriet B. 9.

In 1920 Union County, Oregon, she's 48, married to Perry Benge, 39, and they're in Los Angeles in 1935 and 1940.

Myrtle Belle Benge - Father Farris, mother Ewing, born Oct 16, 1866 in Missouri, died Jan 27, 1956 in Los  Angeles County.

Edward Jay Mott cash-claimed a quarter in 31, 7N 50W in 1890, and another there, also in 1890.  He had a record for a homestead in 6N 51W, but apparently it wassn't completed.

"Harvy Ferris" is a railroad foreman in Park County, Colorado in 1900, born Nov 1853 in Illinois, with Pallistini born March 1855 in West Virginia.  They have Harvy L. May 1895 Colorado.

In 1905 Denver, Harvey Farris is a carpenter, living at 752 Julian.

Harvey Lee Ferris registered with an address of Buena Vista, born May 21, 1895 in Calhan, Colorado, farming, single.

In 1920 Chaffee County, Harvey L. 24 is a farmer, with Leona P., 19 born in Kansas, and they have Helen P., two months.  Harvey A. 64 and Allie 65 are living next door,  farming.

In 1930 Chaffee County, "Amos Ferries" "is 76, Ala P. 76, with grandchildren Helen P. 10, Dora Lee 7, and William H. 4.

In 1930 Eagle County "Lee Farise" 36, is a boarder with May Morgan, 30, and May's daughter Rosemary, 3.

Harvey Lee Ferris, 44, is a zinc miner in 1940 Eagle County, with wife Elizabeth Mae, 39 and step-daughter Rosa Mae Morgan, 13.

In the Minturn cemetery is a stone "H. Lee Ferris - 1895- 19" and Elizabeth Mae Ferris 1899-1956.  SSDI has Harvey born May 21, 1895 dying Feb 1, 1968, last residence Minturn.

FindaGrave # 97864788 has Amos Henry Ferris - Nov 15, 1852- April 24, 1936 buried in Buena Vista, with Alfmetta 1852-1936.

George Ferris is in Schuyler County Missouri, in 1900, born March 1881 in Missouri.  He's with widowed father Elias D. Farris born Feb 1856 in Missouri, siblings Chas. August 1879, William Dec 1882, May May 1886, Walton Nov 1888, Howard March 1891, Robert Feb 1893, Clara April 1895, and Maggie July 1897, all born in Missouri.

One tree said George William Farris and Nora Bell Salley married in Bolivar, Missouri July 26, 1903.

George William Farris proved up a quarter in 8, 4N 50W in 1914 (Washington County, a dozen miles south)

George W. Farris is in Washington County in 1910, 28, born in Missouri, married six years to Nora B. 27.  They have Eunice M. 6 and Nora F. 3, all born in Missouri.

In 1920 Washington County George and Nora have Eunice M. 15, Neva F. 12, Ila 7, Chester  W. 5, and George H. 2.  Eva Goff, 23, school teacher, is boarding with them.

1920 Akron "Geo Farris a prominent citizen of Otis, was in Akron Tuesday to attend the funeral of Dillon Shook."

1922 "George Farris and family and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Spaulding of near Otis spent Xmas at the home of Mrs. Farris' mother, Mrs. H.R. Salley."

Eunice Naomia Farris married Joe Spaulding August 19, 1922, recorded in Morgan County.

Ila Farris married Harry Schafer September 3, 1930, recorded in Logan County.

In 1930 Washington County George and Nora have July M. 17, William 15, George B. 12, and Doras B. 9.

George and Nora are alone in 1940 Washington County, farming.

George W. Farris 1880-1956 and Norah B. 1882-1941 are buried in Akron. 75613235

William C. Farris - Dec 24, 1914-Oct 24, 1983 60939776 and Geneva Jo 1917-1966 are buried in Akron.

Neva married Gerald M. Pixler, December 4, 1925, recorded in Yuma County,  and they're in Fort Collins in 1930. He's 21, Neva 22, and they have Dona 3 and Ronald 1.

Gerold Milton Pixler -1908-1977 is buried in Crown Hill, Jefferson County "son of Roy Kirk Pixler and Anne Rebecca Moon Pixler
