"Velma Maxine Rice was born Jan. 18, 1928, to Omer Parker and Esther Marie (Bauer) in Venango, Neb. She died July 10, 2015, at Regent Park Nursing Home in Holyoke at the age of 87.
Velma attended Brule High School, graduating with the class of 1946. She married Allan Rice Dec. 17, 1950. To this union, three children were adopted: Rick, Yolanda and Judy. They were married 41 years before Allan’s passing on Feb. 28, 1992. "

She's alone in 1930 Fleming, and is buried in Kearney with husband David, 1852-1931, # 46942563.

There's a marker in the Kearney cemetery, Harold L. Cool - Oct 18, 1882 - May 10, 1956 - on the same stone as Mabel E. 1876-1918.
Another - perhaps on the rear of that marker is Clara Loudy Cool - Oct 30, 1888- March 25, 1966.
