The obituary should have specified Catherine was the daughter of Lulu Fitzpatrick. Catherinewas in Rice County in 1920, Minnie Cowden 65, John W. Fitchpatrick Son-in-law, Lulu Ellen Fitchpatrick 34 Daughter, and Catharine Mary Fitchpatrick 2 Granddaughter.

April 13, 1977 " Miss Kathryn M. Fitzpatrick, 58, assistant professor of nursing at Ball State University, died Tuesday afternoon while attending a continuing education conference at Purdue.
Miss Fitzpatrick was a field nursing representative for the American Red Cross in Colorado, Wyoming and Wisconsin from 1951 to 1966. She taught at Washington University, St. Louis from 1966 to 1969. She served on the board of directors of the St. Louis YWCA and was on the boards of the Soroptimist Club, St. Louis League for Nursing, and the third district of the Missouri Nurses Association. She was a member of the Indiana State Nurses Association, Indiana Citizens League for Nursing, National League for Nursing, American Nurses Association, and the American Public Health Association.
Arrangements are pending; burial will be in Union Cemetery in Eaton. "
