Mrs. Graves, 89, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Devonshire Acres Ltd. She was born Aug. 21, 1901, in Fairbury, Neb., the daughter of Franklin B. and Addie Mae Hastings Parsons. She came to Sterling in 1909, where she received her education, worked at F.W. Woolworth Co., as a sales clerk when the store opened in 1926 and later worked at the Commercial Bank and Ben Franklin Store. Mrs. Graves was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and the Heremiah Sunday School Class.
She is survived by a brother, Raymond F. Parsons of Sterling."
