After a sumptous wedding dinner, they left for Kit Carson and left from there on the train for a trip in the west. The Record joins with their host of friends in wishing them happiness and success in their married life."

December 1910 "At 1320 Larimer street, on December 2, J. Edward Mapps, beloved husband of Mrs. Anna K. Mapps and son-in-law of Mrs. W. J. McGinty of Cheyenne Wells, Colo. Funeral services at McGovern's parlors at 8:15 p. m. today, December 6. Interment at Riverside, by tramway car."

August 1913 Cheyenne Wells " Wm. McGinty and wife left the first part of the week for Hudson, Wyoming, to visit their oldest son. They expect to be gone a month or six weeks. The Times joins their many friends here in wishing them a pleasant journey, and a safe return."

May 1914 Cheyenne Wells "Mrs. Wm. Rhoades, of Kit Carson, is visiting Mrs Wra. McGinty this week."
February 1917 Cheyenne Wells, Colorado " Mrs. H. L. Spencer, of Paonia, Colo, sister of Mr. Wm. McGinty, is here visiting the latter. We acknowledge a social call from both ladies Tuesday."

November 1917 Cheyenne Wells "Wm. McGinty, of Denver, is visiting old friends here this week."

May 1919 Hugo, Colorado "Mrs. Jos. Robinson and Mrs. Wm. McGinty from Cheyenne Wells, former residents of Hugo, were here Tuesday to attend the funeral of their lifelong friend, Mrs. C. M. Clothier. Mrs. Robinson remained until Thursday visiting friends here."

August 1921 " Mrs. Wm. McGinty left Monday evening for Salina, Kans., to visit the Wm. Brewer family."
"Mrs. Wm. McGinty. who has been visiting at Salina for two weeks, returned home on Saturday and after spending a few days here will go to Kit Carson to visit until Sunday; Mr. MeGinty intends to join her there and togethsr they will journey on to Denver."

May 1922 " Wm. J. McGinty, who has an ear for sweet music, went up to Denver Sunday morning to spend the week, this being “music week” in that city."

August 1922 "Wm. McGinty went up to Denver the first of the week to celebrate his birthday with his wife and incidentally enjoy a few days vacation."

September 1922 "Wm. McGinty went up to Denver last Sunday evening being called there on account of the serious illness of his daughter-in-law. "

January 1947 Idaho Falls, Idaho " Mrs. Barbara Mulcahey has been apprehended at Kingsville, Texas, and will be returned to Idaho Falls to face charges of theft of 10 thousand dollars from Clifford A. McGinty at the Wayside Inn, Dean F. Wilkie, Bonneville county sheriff, disclosed Thursday. Deputy Joe McNeil left Thursday for Texas to bring back Mrs. Mulcahey, who has signed a waiver of extradition. McGinty reported the theft one of the largest in Bonneville county to city and county law- enforcement officers. At that time, Mrs. Mulcahey, an employe at the place, had disappeared, while he was absent at Salt Lake City, he told the authorities. McGinty who operates the club on the Payne road three miles north of the city, said the money in small bills was stolen from a tin box kept in a trailer house parked near the club. Reported stolen were nine hundred dollars in one dollar bills, 50 dollars in two dollar bills, five thousand dollars in 20 dollar bills and the remainder in 10 dollar bills and silver."
