"Jonathan A. Tipton, aged 56 years, a painter by trade, died at his home, 423 Fairview avenue, yesterday. The cause of death was liver trouble, from which he had been suffering for some time. Rev. Dr. Vassar will officiate at the funeral services, which will take place from the late residence of the deceased this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Wyandotte lodge No. 35, Odd Fellows, of which the deceased was a member, will conduct services at the grave in Elmwood cemetery."

Wm. Nat. Friond, pastor the Presbyterian church. Soon after the ceremony the young couple left for a trip, after which they will settle down at Pitkin, where Mr. Jackson has a fine position. "
