and Hugh Graham for county commissioner."
" Mr. E. S. Ebbs, the nominee of the Democratic

April 1885 "Ebbs, Martin & Co., dry goods, of Sterling, have sold their stock to J. L. Parrott."
October 1885 Sterling "Mr. E. S. Ebbs showed us, the other day,
a snake cucumber, raised on his farm. It measures five feet in length
and has exactly the appearance of a snake, coiled ready to strike.
Mr. Ebbs considers this an excellent variety."

the new town hall are on file in the office of Ebbs,
Rowden & Co. Bids are to be given in on May 10."
May 1887 Rocky Mountain News "We visited the farm of E.S. Ebbs,
ona mile west of town, last Tuesday. We were impressed with the favorable
improvements made on what was open prairie but a few years ago.
Mr. Ebbs owns 360 acres of choice land. It is all fenced and crossfenced in
fields, meadows and orchards. He has 200 fruit trees, all in fine condition."

January 1890 Sterling "E. S. Ebbs is down from
Denver this week, where he is located."
February 1890 "E. S. Ebbs went up to Denver
Saturday night, where he expects to move his family in
about two weeks."
