Catherine is buried in Otoe County 1823-1901 # 24537177 "Mrs. McAleer passed hence at Paola, Kansas, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Lewis, on Wednesday, April 3. Her remains will be brought here for interment. The funeral services will be in St. Leo's Church on Saturday morning, Fr. P. Odell Russell officiating."

In 1910 Logan County, Frank is farming, married 23 years (his second) with Arcelia 44, Thomas 19 born in Nebraska, and Frank Jr. 6 born in Colorado.

July 1911 "Mark Lewis of Paoli, Kan., cousin of Tom McAleer, arrived last night and will spend several days here visiting relatives."
Mark was the son of James Lewis and Mary E. McAleer, 21, born in Rhode Island, who married in Otoe County, Nebraska on August 9, 1875. In 1880 Otoe County, James is 32, Mary 25, Helen G. 3, and James A. four months.


January 1913 "It is reported that Thomas McAleer, formerly an employee of the Glass and Bryant Mercantile company, who went to Gothenburg, Nebraska during the holidays, has accepted a position in that town and will not return to Sterling."
