Hays Kansas December 30, 1916  Sheriff-elect Weltz' father, Jacob Weltz, died Sunday night and was buried from the Catholic Church, Tuesday. Mr. Weltz was an old and highly respected citizen of Hays. The Free Press extends sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
