In 1880 Fremont County, Iowa, I.R. Thompson is 25, born in Wisconsin, farming, with Molly, 21.

In 1885 Fremont County, Iowa, Irwin is 29, Mollie 25, with Arthur 4.

1889 Sterling "I.R. Thompson returned home last night from a business trip to Brush."  It's possible that the land records were transcribed incorrectly......

Irwin proved up a quarter in 7, 8N 48W, Logan County, Colorado in 1893.

1899 "I.R. Thompson, formerly landlord at the Teller House in this city, who has been doing contract work on the Wyoming extension of the Burlington this summer, was in town Saturday and Sunday shaking hands with old friends.  He is just as fat and jolly as ever - Brush Tribune."

1899 "I. R. Thompson ran up to Merino yesterday accompanied by Master Jesse."

1900 Sterling, "J.H. McShane of Omaha wrote I. R. Thompson of this city" advising that the Burlington had awarded contracts for construction of the Brush-Alliance, Nebraska line."

I. R. is mentioned several times in the Sterling newspaper as working on the grading for the Brush-Alliance road.

In 1900 Sterling, Irvin is a railroad contractor, born Aug 1855, Mollie Feb 1860, both Pennsylvania, with Arthur Aug 1880 Iowa and Jessie L. Dec 1888 Colorado.  Arthur is a bookkeeper for Irvin.

In 1910 Fort Collins Irvin is a contractor with Mollie and sons Arthur and Jesse are with them.

When Jessie Thompson registered in Oakland, California, he said he was born Dec 9, 1888 at FLEMING, Colorado.  He was a foreman for the Southern Pacific Railroad.

He registered for WWII in Oakland, with Elizabeth Thompson always knowing his address.

He died October 12, 1948 in Alameda County, California, mother's maiden name Russler.

ARTHUR

Anna Senn was born May 22, 1887 in Brown County, Wisconsin to John C. Senn and Dora Winnegan. (some trees say Winnekan)

In 1905 Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, John C. and Dora have eleven kids and one granddaughter.  One is Anna D. , 16.

In 1910 Fort Collins Anna Senn, 22, born in Wisconsin, is a servant in a hotel.

Arthur G. Thompson married Anna Dorothy Senn Jun 16, 1913, recorded in Jefferson County.

In 1920 Denver "Aurthor" and Annie Thompson are in Denver, where he is a railroad brakeman.

Arthur G. Thompson is operating a service station in Henderson, Adams County, Colorado in 1940, with Anna D. 52 Wisconsin, and they have Arthur Jr. 15, born in Colorado.

Anna D. Thompson born May 10, 1889 in Wisconsin, died in McAllen Texas May 10, 1981, father John Senn.

John C. 1844-1925 and Dora (Winnekan) Senn 1862-1933 are buried in Fond du Lac County, Saint Matthews Cemetery.
