Funeral services for Frederica Crow, 93, who died Wednesday, March
27, 1963 in a Colorado Springs, Colo., hospital, will be held this
afternoon at 1:30 at the Dee Riley Funeral Home conducted by the Rev.
James Crawford, pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren Church of
Kirksville. Burial will be in the Ft. Madison cemetery of Adair county. Mrs. Crow was the daughter of M.F. and Airy (Kelley) Strock and was born September 9, 1869 in Adair county. She was married to Rufus Allen Crow and to this marriage nine children were born. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Margaret) Joiner of Colorado Springs; four sons, Kenneth Crow and Marvin Crow both of Colorado Springs, Clinton Crow of Needles, Colo (must be Cal) and Brian Crow of Des Moines, Ia; 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1927; three sons, one daughter, two brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Crow had lived in Colorado since 1955. She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Brashear and had been a member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union for many years. Bearers will be Joe Shelton, Arthur Crossgrove, Gayle Platz, Edgar Shelton, Elmer Patterson and Morton Platz.
