Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Vera Miller of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Keika Greenlee of Walla Walla, Mrs. Ruth Holmes of Toppenish and Mrs. Grace Roundsville of Clark Fork, Ida.; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Steele Chapel, with the Rev. H. Stanley Holman officiating. Interment will be in the Camas Cemetery at Camas."

But in 1940 Scottsbluff, Loyd Miller is a ditch rider, 47, "Idra" Miller 36 Wife, Lyle Miller 17 Son, and Alberta Miller 15 Daughter.

His reference was Mrs. Vera Miller of the same address.

But that was Vera E. (Havesharm) Downing, most likely.
A granddaughter of Lloyd said "He was a really nice man, and after he died Vera remarried and went to Arkansas."

"Lyle LeRoy Miller passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2017. Lyle was born August 10, 1920 on a farm near Willard, Colorado to Lloyd and Vera Miller. He grew up in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, graduating from high school in 1941. In November, 1942 he enlisted in the U.S Navy. He served on both the U.S. Bronx and the U.S.S. Bellatrix AKA-3, and saw action in Sicily, Tarawa, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Saipan during WWII. He was honorably discharged in December 1945.
After returning home, he met Lillian King in Denver, and they were married July 6, 1946. They celebrated their 70th anniversary in 2016. They moved to Casper in 1949 where they owned and operated Beltone Hearing Aid Center from 1949, until his retirement in 1987. However, Lyle did not really retire. He continued to help his daughter, Cheryl with the business until 2002. He was very dedicated to helping the hard of hearing. Lyle enjoyed his acreage in the country, horses, team roping, fishing, playing golf, and listening to the Wyoming Cowboys on the radio. Both Lillian and Lyle also enjoyed wintering in Arizona after retirement.
Lyle was a lifetime member of the Casper Elks Club, VFW Post 1091 and the International Hearing Aid Society.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Vera Miller; his sister, Alberta Byers; and his son-in-law, Larry Vanatta.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian; his daughter, Cheryl Vanatta of Casper; his son Ronald Miller (Kay) Scottsbluff, NE; his granddaughters, Jana Webb (Richard) of Gillette and Julie Collins (David Hollenbeck) of Billings, MT; and great granddaughters, Payson and Gracie Webb of Gillette.
A visitation will be 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 400 Country Club Road, Casper, Wyoming. Interment to follow at Highland Cemetery with Navy Honors. "

"Lillian Elaine Miller passed away peacefully on July 24, 2022. She was born February 10, 1927, in Portal, North Dakota to Raymond and Lena King. Lillian's parents worked on a farm in Canada and Lena was brought by horse-drawn sled to Portal, North Dakota, the port of entry, where there was a small hospital. Lena was insistent Lillian be born in the United States.
The family lived in North Dakota and Minnesota until 1942 when they moved to Denver, Colorado. Lillian graduated from Cathedral High School in 1945. After graduation, she went to work for Western Union in Denver.
Lillian was married to Lyle L. Miller on July 6, 1946, at Holy Family Catholic Church. They celebrated 70 years together, before Lyle's passing in 2017.
In 1949, Lillian and Lyle moved to Casper and successfully owned and operated Beltone Hearing Aid Center, working together until they retired in 1987. Daughter, Cheryl Vanatta continued operating the business in Casper while son Ron (Kay) Miller operated offices in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Scottsbluff, Nebraska and Wickenburg, Arizona. Following retirement, Lillian and Lyle enjoyed spending winters in Yuma, Arizona.
Lillian enjoyed needlework, reading, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, playing bingo, and playing pinnacle with her card club gals. She was also an avid Denver Broncos fan. In 1961 Lillian began her tradition of sending greeting cards. She had a collection of friends and family she would remember with cards and letters on each birthday, anniversary and special event. She never missed one and helped to keep Hallmark in business.
Her family was special to her and she cherished every moment she was able to spend with them, especially her great granddaughters. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church from its beginning and a life member of the International Hearing Aid Society.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lyle, her parents, Raymond and Lena King, brothers Ervin and Eddie King, sister Alice Schreibvogel, and son-in-law Larry Vanatta. "
