"To Whom It May Concern.
Lafayette, Colo., Sept. 19. 1906.
This is to state that Frank Kulovane and I had been drinking a little beer Sunday night
and when we came home I put my money, about fifty dollars in my inside coat pocket and hung it
on the wall, when it fell behind the trunk. I then looked for my money and could I not find it,
forgetting about the coat, I went to sleep and when I awoke Monday morning pulled out the trunk and
found the coat and money. I was hasty in accusing Frank Kulovane of taking my money,
for he never took it and I believe him to be an honest man.
Witness: Martin Zahradnick.
