"John H. Tucker, resident of the Fruita section
for many years, died Dec. 4 in a hospital at Pueblo,
where he was taken from St. Mary's hospital Nov. 30.
Mr. Tucker was born Oct 17, 1874, at Blair, and came to
Colorado in 1910. He farmed in the Fruita section for many
years, but went to Denver Jan. 22, 1937, where he
and his wife had a delicatessen store and rooming house.
They returned here March 5, 1943, and again resided at
Fruita.
Mr. Tucker became ill last summer and had grown steadily
worse since that.
He is survived by Mrs. Gertrude Tucker,
and the following children: Chester, LaJolla,
Robert of the U. S. army; John whose address is unknown;
Mrs. Ellen O. Burton, Haxtun,
Miss Ethel Tucker, Colorado Springs; and Mrs. Alma K. Otto,
Colorado Springs."
James is "widowed" in 1900.

July 17, 1929 Fort Collins "Mrs. Amanda McReynolds,
83 years old, died at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Maud Duschanek, 901 Smith street, at 7 o'clock Tuesday
evening of old age and stomach trouble.
She has been failing for the past two years. Mrs.
McReynolds was born in Indiana in 1847,
and spent the greater portion of her life at Fremont, Nebr..
She came to Fort Collins
years ago and has lived at the home of her daughter
since that time.
Funeral services will be held at the Balmer mortuary at
10 o'clock Thursday morning. The remains will be sent to
Fremont for interment. She is survived by six daughters,
Mrs. Duschanek, Fort Collins,Mrs. Emma Thomas, Willard, Col.,
Mrs. Psrter, Canada, Miss Lillian Anderson, Fort Dodge, Iowa,
Mrs. Wtss Swain, Long View, Wash., Mrs. Mary Wilson,
Gold Hill, Colo., and by two sons, Will Tucker,
Porterville Calif., and Tucker Grand Junction "

January 1916 "Miss Mayme Wilmis, who has been visiting at the Duschanek home,
returned to her home in Neola, Iowa, Sunday."
August 1916 " Mr. and Mrs. J. Duschanek and daughter Helen, and Mrs. Mary Michelson of Fort Collins
arrived at the Thomas home Sunday afternoon, and visited there a short time;
later they drove through Willard and visited the Duschanek farm. Mrs. Michelson lived here
twenty-five years ago. She and her family were the first people to live in the section house here."

died this morning in a nursing home at Colorado Springs after
five years of failing health. She was the widow of Joseph
Duschanek who died here in 1930, and was a member of
St. Catholic Church She was born in Fremont, Neb., Oct 16,
1876. She and her family lived in Greeley and Fort Collins
since 1912.
Mrs. Duschanek is survived by a daughter,
Mrs. Paul Getchell of Colorado Springs,
two grandchildren, a brother,
William Tucker of Porterville, Calif.,
and two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Anderson of Ft. Lauderdale,
Fla., and Mrs. Mary McConnell of Lafayette, Colo."
