Albany, Missouri "Clyde Brown was born May 18, 1889, and died Feb. 15, 1915,
aged 26 years, 8 months and 27 days. Clyde was the son of James Brown and wife,
living north of Stanberry He was married to Miss Florence Pierce, Dec. 12th, 1908.
To this union three children were born: Eva Neva and Mona Frances.
He leaves to mourn: His parents, a wife, three children, three brothers, Leonard, Paul and Dale,
and one sister, Mona Brown. He had been in poor health for a number of years and spent a great part of
his time in the west.
Funeral services were held at the Christian church 'Wednesday morning at 11:30 o'clock,
conducted by pastor, Eld. Lee H. Barnum, and the remains were laid to rest in High Ridge cemetery."

Mona Frances Brown Patterson, 71, died Monday, December 10, 1984,
at a Palo Alto, hospital. Mrs. Patterson was born in Stanberry, Missouri,
and had received her bachelor's degree in education from Northwest
Missouri State University and a master's degree in education from
the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
She had taught school in Stanberry for 10 years,
and in Kansas City, and for 22 years.
She was married to Brian Patterson in 1965, and they made
their home in Menlo Park, Calif. She was an active member of the
Women's Club of Stanford University, and had served as a
volunteer for the Health Council for Retarded Children.
Surviving are her husband, Brian Patterson of the home;
one stepdaughter, Lynn Patterson, Napa,
one stepson, Craig Patterson, Napa;
two sisters, Neva Roberts, Stanberry, and
Eva Armstrong, King City, one niece; and several nephews.
Memorial services were held in Menlo Park, California.
Memorial services will also be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the
First Christian Church, Stanberry, for family and friends."
