1898 Sterling "Mrs. F.E. Wilkins, formerly Miss Fanny Beckwith, returned to her home near Snyder this morning, after a brief visit with A.D. McAlpine and family. Mr. Wilkins is foreman of Young Bros. sheep ranch near Snyder." This is likely Eliza's niece, daughter of Levi.
September 1900 "Mrs. M. McFadden, mother of Mrs. R. B.
Martin, left on Thursday last to visit friends in
Sterling."

who had married A. D. McAlpine, and their family live. Alexander is an agent of the Union Pacific.
October 1901 "Mrs. Beckwith, who lives
in Sterling, left for her home on Thursday,
after making a brief visit with her sister, Mrs. R. B.
Martin. She brought with her two childen
belonging to Mr. Gilbert, who make their home with
their aunt."
Levi proved up 160 acres in sections 2 and 11, 7N 54W in 1906.
October 1908 "Mrs. Levi H. Beckwith, of Chelsea,
underwent a severe surgical operation in Omaha a week or
two ago. Mr. Beckwith received a letter on Tuesday
announcing that she had commenced to mend and there was
every prospect of her recovery."
January 1909 Crook, Colorado "Mr. and Mrs. I. W. Reed and two little boys visited from Friday until Sunday night with
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Beckwith. Mrs. Beckwith is a sister of
Mrs. Reed."
July 2, 1903 Loveland, Colorado "Mrs. Margaret McFadden,
who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. R. B. Marlin,
returned to her home in Sterling on Friday."
