In 1880 Marathon County, Wisconsin "Ramont" Thuerman is 23, Albert 26, sons of widowed Anna Thuermer, 57 all born in "Ostrian"

(Albert Thurmer is in Richland County, North Dakota in 1900, born June 1855 in Germany, married 19 years to Katie born May 1866 in Germany.  they have Augusta 1885, John 1888, Annie 1891, Maggie 1894, and Amanda 1897. 

Next household is Jacob Osten Jan 1872 and Bertha 1878, both born in Germany.

In Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Lidgerwood, Richland County, North Dakota is "Albert Thuermer - 1854-1912" and "Cathrina Thuermer - 1865-1911".  Albert and Catherine (Osten) Thurmer had Leonard, dying Sept 1, 1987, buried at Holy Cross, Lidgerwood.   They also had Anna Margaret, married Carl M. Morman, dying 1855 at age 63 in Washington, Margaret married Emil Macheel of Lidgerwood, , Mrs. Minnie Bllgren, of Marshfield, Wis, John Thurmer, born May 7, 1888 in Wien, Wisconsin, living in Delamere, N.D John died April 1967.)

Mary Bocker Welling, born in Germany, married Frank J. Thuermer Sept 1, 1896 in Fond Du Lac.  Frank's parents were Martin Thuermer and Mary Hacker, Mary's parents Nicolaus Welling and Margaretha Schneider.

One tree said Louise Woerschem born Dec 13, 1851, died March 1894.

(Francio Joseph Thuermer and Louise Werschen had a son Joseph, born in Forest, who married Anna Sabel in Taychudah, Wisconsin Nov 7, 1904.    They're in Fond Du Lac in the 1905 census. Joseph, born Nov 14, 1880, a blacksmith, married to Anna, registered in Fond Du Lac.  In 1934 one Baumann family post says Emma Auguste Baumann born 10/5/1879 married Nov 2, 1901 Joseph Thuerman born 1880 - was in Mt. Calvary Wisconsin in 1960 per Herman Baumann's obituary)

In 1920 Fond Du Lac, Joseph and Mary are living alone, and also in 1930, at age 80.

Clara married Paul Julius Schuck, and one tree said she died Dec 12, 1925 in Fond Du Lac

But Jan 21, 1966 Fond Du Lac - Mrs. Koenigs Dies; Services At St. Mary's City Native, Member Of 2 Church Groups; Widower Survives Mrs. Edward Koenigs, 71, of 173 E. McWilliams St., died Wednesday afternoon at St. Ag- ces Hospital. The former Clara Schuck was  born Sept. 26, 1894, in the city, and Mrs- Richard C. Freund the daughter of Frank and Margaret Koenigs Schuck.
Gordon A. Porter, 77, of 486 E. McWilliams Street, went to Heaven on Monday, December 13, 2010, at the Hospice Home of Hope. He was born July 13, 1933, the son of Lloyd and Stella Thuermer Porter. He was a 1951 graduate of Fond du Lac High School and served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956. On September 12, 1953, he married Geraldine “Gerry” Anna Sass at the Church of Peace. Gordon was formerly employed at Mercury Marine for 35 ½ years, retiring in 1998. Prior to this he worked at Quic-Frez. He loved camping, fishing, playing cards, his HO model trains, and spending time with his family. Fifty-seven wonderful years of marriage gave him and his wife eight children; five girls, Deborah (George) Rhoades of Fond du Lac, Linda (Roy) Strutz of Green Lake, Sharon (Jim) Joy, Marie (David) Lee, and Lisa (Steve) Gehde, all of Fond du Lac, three sons, David (Mary) Porter, Robert (Special Friend Bonnie) Porter, and Jason (Jennie) Porter, all of Fond du Lac, 19 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, and a seventh great-grandson due on Tuesday, December 21st. He is further survived by a sister, Jean Hoffman of Fond du Lac, a brother, Ken Porter of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, his stepfather, George Wolf, his father and mother-in-law, William and Mary Sass, a son-in-law, John Sarazen, four grandchildren, and his dog, “Ginger.”

Eva proved up a quarter in 18, 7N 48W in 1893, and next to it Raymund cash-claimed a quarter in 1891.

In 1900 Stone County, Missouri, Ray Thermmer born Feb 1857 in Germany, immigrating in 1874, has been married 13 years to Eva, Feb 1860 Wisconsin. Frank J. July 1889 Colorado, Steven C. Aug 1891 Colorado, Martin N. June 1893 Colorado, and Rosa M. April 1895 Missouri.  None have occupations. 

One Ancestry tree says Ray died about 1904 in Muenster, Cooke County, Texas, and that Eva remarried in 1905 after they moved back to Minnesota.

In 1905 Mower County, Minnesota, Nick Stephani, a laborer, is 46, Eva 44, a dressmaker Mike A. 21, Anna M 19, Lizzie 17, Peter 15, Joseph 14, Bertha 12, Christena 10, and Anthony 7, then Frank Thurmer 15, Steve 14, Nick 12, and Rose, 10.  Eva and her four kids have been in Minnesota only one year.

In 1910 Mower County, Minnesota, Nickles Stephani  is 53, Eva 50, and they have Frank J. Theurmer 20, Stephani 18, Nicklis 16, and Rosa 15.

Nick Thuerman registered in Lodi, Minnesota, saying he was 23, born in Fleming Colorado, single.

Eva is widowed in 1920 Mower County, with Steve 28, Frank 26, Nick 26, and Rosa Reicherts, 24.

The 1925 Fond Du Lac directory has a Frank J. Thuermer (Mary), a Wm Thuermer (Kath: Thuermer Bros), and Jos. Buermer (Thuermer Bros., blacksmiths)

Nick is in Chickasaw County, Iowa in 1926, single, on the same census page as Rose and Albert Reicherts and their four kids - one named Raymond.

Eva Stephani, per Findagrave 59360250, was born Jan 26, 1861 in Fond Du Lac County, Wisconsin, and died Feb 19, 1930, buried in Saint Johns, Johnsburg, Mower County, Minnesota.

March 14, 1951 "Frank Theurmer, 61, died this morning at the farm home of his brother Steven Theurmer southeast of Adams.  Funeral arrangements are to be made by the Adams funeral home."

Rosa M. Reicherts, born April 4, 1895, died March 31, 1970 in New Hampton, Chickasaw County, Iowa,

I am looking for relatives of William Thuermer whose mother's miaden
name was Louise or Gertrude Werschem. The Werschem family resided in
St. Joseph and Mt. Calvary, WI. in Fond du Lac Co.
William Werschem died in l932 and his obituary mentions that he was laid out at the home
of his nephew, William Thuermer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
