FindAGrave 87221567 has Jerome born 1821 in Ontario County, NY dying Jan 31, 1895, buried in Lake View, Seattle, Washington, with children Leonard, Philander, Jerome, Mary Ann Gannon, and Emma Rilla Bigelow Truman Kahler. Sarah 1829-1914 is also buried in Lake View.
Philander died in Mississippi Aug 3, 1862, a private in Co. D, 14th Michigan.
Jerome Daniel served in Co. D. 5th Michigan, and died in 1885 - buried in Lansing, Michigan.
| I believe my third great grandmother is a sister to Phebe, Juliet
and Melila McFall. She married Jerome Clinton Helms in Mt. Morris,
Livingston Co., New York in 1840. Their oldest son Leonard Helms was
born in Groveland, New York. Sarah and Jerome Helms moved to Howell,
Livingston Co., Michigan in 1847 with Jerome's parents and siblings.
Some time after 1880 they moved to Nebraska and Colorado, before ending
up in Seattle, King Co., Washington. I have always felt that Peter and
Susan McFall are the parents of Sarah McFall Helms, but have been unable
to prove it. As a side note, two of the Helms girls married two of the

In 1920 Seattle Eli is a city policeman, with Della 37 Kansas, Mildred 15 Washington, Agnes 13 Washington, and Clinton 34 a truck teamster.
In 1930 Kitsap County, Washington , Eli J. 66 has no occupation, and still with Della M. - Agnes S. Harper, 23, daughter is with them
Eli and Della are alone in 1940 Kitsap County, and Eli died in November 1940.
