EDNA BELLE STANFORD  was born 01 July 1892 in Dawson County, Nebraska84, and died 21 March 1988 in Lexington , Dawson County , Nebraska . She married CLARENCE FRANK HAWORTH 23 December 1914 in Lexington, Dawson County , Nebraska , son of PRESTON HAWORTH and LILLIE BUFFINGTON. He was born 1892 in Indiana , and died 1964 in Lexington , Dawson County , Nebraska

James proved up a quarter in 18, 7N 48W, Logan County in 1894.  So that might be the one from Nebraska.

Esther Elizabeth Murdock, 95, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington. Esther was born January 17, 1917, in Lexington, Nebraska to John and Jane (Powell) Haworth. She attended primary school in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1935. Following graduation, she worked for Stewart's Pharmacy, Reutlinger's Variety Store, and Hellman's for several years.
     She was united in marriage to Otto C. Murdock on August 30, 1945, in Norton, Kansas. Esther was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards, especially pinochle, reading, visits from family and friends, and going to the movies.
     She is survived by one son: Ronald Murdock of Bangkok, Thailand; one daughter, Susan Murdock of Lexington, Nebraska; two stepsons, Mike Murdock of Norwich, Kansas and Tim Ogden of Lexington, Nebraska; one sister, Ruth Granger of Roswell, Georgia and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
     Esther was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Otto; son, Robert; two brothers, Howard & Vern; two sisters, Vesta Carlsen and Gayle Wenburg and one stepdaughter, Pat Deal.
     The family has honored Esther's wishes for cremation. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Graveside Inurnment service will be held at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington with Reverend Tess Hufford officiating.

In 1940 Lexington, Nebraska, James is 73, partner in a sale barn, with Maggie 53, James 14, and Robert 12.  So he was probably in partnership with his nephew Clarence.

 Clarence Haworth, lived in and around Lexington, NE, all his life. He married Edna Stanford. they had Marjorie, Bill, and Stanley. After going broke farming, Clarence owned the Lexington Sale barn and the pool hall for years. He and Edna are buried in Greenwood cemetery.

Stanley Clarence ("Stan") Haworth of Warrenton, VA died on October 25, 2013. He was born February 27, 1925 in Lexington, Nebraska where his parents, Clarence and Edna, ran a livestock auction business. He was a drum major for the Lexington High School and was active on the local rodeo circuit excelling in lasso tricks and calf roping events. He studied animal husbandry at the University of Nebraska.
 
Mr. Haworth was in the US Army during WWII serving in Europe and earned two Purple Hearts and two Bronze Stars. He moved from Denver to Warrenton in 1948 to work for the national magazine THE BREEDER STOCKMAN. He soon began his career as an independent auctioneer and met his wife, Mildred ("Pete") Westcott when her father took her to a cattle auction in May of 1952. They were married the following December.
 
At the peak of his auction career, he travelled over 50, 000 miles a year selling purebred stock, dairies, farms, antiques and estates all over Virginia and the eastern United States. While continuing his auction business, Mr. Haworth began Warrenton Nurseries in 1963 to grow stock to be retailed at Westcott Nurseries in Falls Church, Virginia which was owned by his father-in-law Milt Westcott. He sold wholesale nursery stock to his loyal customers until 2012 and donated many trees that still grace the streets, government and school buildings in and around Warrenton.
 
Believing that everyone should participate in their community, for many years Mr. Haworth was active in Rotary, enjoyed his friends at the Fauquier Club and loved golfing at the Fauquier Springs Country Club. He served on the Warrenton Town Council and was Vice-Mayor under Mayor Bill Lineweaver. He served two years as chairman of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Planning District Commission and was a former director for the Fauquier Livestock Exchange. Mr. Haworth was also a former president of the Northern Virginia Nurseryman's Association and Vice President of the Virginia Association of Landscape Designers. He was a devoted director for the Fauquier Bank for over 30 years until retiring from that position several years ago.
 
Mr. Haworth spent many years traveling around the country with his wife and friends and was known to always be planning for "the next trip."

James J. Haworth, 80, formerly of Helena, passed away peacefully at his home in Littleton, Colo., on Jan. 18, 2006.

He was born May 6, 1925, in Elwood, Neb., to James C. and Maggie May (Gibson) Haworth.

Jim received his early education in nearby Lexington, enlisting in the Army Air Corps after graduation and proudly serving with the World War II Pacific Theater of Operations until being honorably discharged in 1946. He then enrolled at the University of Colorado, where he obtained a degree in business administration. Shortly thereafter, he began working for Mountain States Telephone and held various managerial accounting positions in four states throughout his career.

On Sept. 1, 1951, Jim married Helen Louise Berglund in Colorado, a union that would last 20 years and produce two daughters. On July 21, 1974, Jim and Mary Hendrickson were joined in marriage in Helena, and the family increased with the addition of her four young children.

In 1984 Jim retired from Mountain Bell after 34 years of dedicated service. He then acquired his real estate broker's license and joined Century 21 in Denver as an associate. In later years Jim and Mary enjoyed traveling south in their motor home as well as yearly visits to their condo at Fairmont Hot Springs until ill health required that he remain closer to home.

Jim was a member of numerous organizations but was especially proud to be on the Montana Governor's Council, a founding member of Plymouth Congregational Church, to belong to V.F.W. 4666, and to hold the position of secretary/treasurer for the Gates of the Mountains Boat Club for 15 years. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan and had a special interest in anything and everything related to investments. He loved his family and will be dearly missed.

Preceding Jim in death were his parents and his beloved brother, Bob.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary of Littleton; daughters, Janet (Terry) Tatchell and Terry Scow of Helena; stepchildren, Steve (Marilyn) Hendrickson of Bothell, Wash.; Kathy (Jim) Lippert of Big Timber; Vicki (Dave) Grove of Littleton; and Dave Hendrickson of Fresno, Calif. Grandchildren include Brittney and Kyle Tatchell; Matt, Jamie, and Lissy Scow; Andrew Hendrickson; Payson Lippert; Nick Hill; Jocelyn Hodovance; and Austin and Brandon Hendrickson. Jim is also survived by numerous extended family members.

Interment with military honors was conducted at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver on Jan. 30, 2006. Memorial services in Helena are scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, July 14, at Plymouth Congregational Church.
