In 1880 Smith County Kansas, G.W. Dancer is 13, with parents V.G. 46 and H.A. 41.  Siblings are M.J. 15, N.G. 10. L. A. 8., and W.F. 4.

They're still in Smith County in 1885,with Jennie 20, George 18, Nora G. 15, Lena A. 13, and Walter S. 9.

George W. Dancer, 24 applied to marry Martha Whiteley, 23,  May 21, 1890, recorded in Washington County.  A note on the card says "Application is all that is shown."

 George cash-claimed a quarter in 28, 7N 48W in 1891, and proved up a quarter in 30, 6N 49W in 1894.  The same year Vincent G. Dancer proved up a quarter in the same section 30.

George W. Dancer married Bell G. Jackson Feb 23, 1891, recorded in Logan County.

In 1900 Logan County George, born June 1866 in Iowa, has been married two years to Belle G. August 1875 Tennessee, and they have Walter M. Oct 1899.

In 1910 Logan County George and Belle have Walter 10 and Earl 9.

In 1912 George is a delegate to a Republican meeting in Fort Morgan.

In 1920 Sterling, George is the proprietor of a transfer line, with Walter and Earl truckers.  In 1930 George has the transfer line, Earl managing it, and Walter is a typesetter for the daily paper.

Earl V. Dancer married Sadie Mae Standley Jun 16, 1933, recorded in Weld County.

In 1940 Sterling George and Bell are retired, and Walter is still a typesetter.

George, born June 15, 1866, died Dec 9, 1945, and Belle Guest (Jackson) Dancer - Aug 21, 1875-Apr 17, 1963 are both buried in Sterling.  So is Walter Marshall Dancer, Oct 6, 1899 - Mar 28, 1980.

Earl V. -Nov 20, 1900 - Jan 2, 1987 and Sadie M. 1908-2006 are also buried there.
