Daniel cash-claimed a quarter in 23, 7N 48W in 1891.

In 1900 Greeley, Daniel born April 1852 in Pennsylvania is a carpenter, married 25 years to Virginia.  John W. Jan 1875 Iowa, Lewis A. Sep 1880 Nebraska, Lotta Sep 1883 Iowa, Maude J. Aug 1891 Nebraska, and Fannie April 1893 Iowa.

In 1910 Greeley Daniel and Virginia have only Maude J. and Fannie E.

The Tribune-Republican, Greeley Colorado March 7, 1924 Daniel K. Brewer, age 74 for the last 26 years a resident of Greeley and Weld County, died at his home 1915 Tenth Street Tuesday afternoon at 3:45 o'clock as result of paralysis. He had been ill since January 2nd, No funeral arrangements have been announced.
Mr. Brewer came to Weld County from Columbus Junction, Iowa where he had been engaged in farming, early in 1899. He settled five miles east of Eaton, where he farmed for nine years at the end of which time he moved to Greeley where he has been since.
Surviving relatives include the widow and five children, John W. Brewer, of Eaton, Louis A. Brewer of Weldona, Mrs Lottie Gallatin of Dover, Mrs. Maude Magnuson of Ione, and Mrs. Fannie Johnson of Denver. Twenty four grandchildren also survive. Mr. Brewer was a member of the Methodist church.

Daniel and Virginia Honor (Brooks) Brewer 1858-1936 are buried in Linn Grove, Greeley.

The Brewer heirs are three daughters and two sons, as follows:-Fannie Ayers and Lottie Gallatin of Carr, Maude Magnuson of Gilcrest, John Brewer of Akron and Louis Brewer of Longview, Wash. J. Emery Chilton .is attorney.

John Wesley Brewer registered with an Eaton address, born January 24, 1876, farming, married to Maggie.

In 1920 Eaton, Colorado, John W. is 43, a farm foreman, married to Maggie E. 23, born in Dakota Territory, with Edna V. 3 and Wesley E. 1, and Harold R. five months.

Wesley and Mary Day had a son April 6, 1939, dying April 10, in Akron, Ohio.

John W. Brewer, son of Daniel Brewer, born Jan 24, 1875 in Iowa, spouse Margaret, died Jan 30, 1940, in Akron, buried in Memorial Park.

In 1940 Akron, Ohio, Margaret, widowed, 48, born in North Dakota, has son "Westley", 21, Colorado and his wife Mary M. 21, born in Ohio.
