Wilhelm Anderson

Wilhelm cash-claimed a quarter in 25, 7N 48W in 1890.

In 1889 the Sterling newspaper had an article about "Rev. Wm. Anderson" of Crook being "fired out of a concert held near Crook."  William Anderson, Presbyterian minister of Crook, responded, calling it a "flimsy libel."  Crook is twenty miles from this claim, and a Wilhelm name would likely be a Lutheran or Catholic minister, not Presbyterian.

William Anderson married Anna Sowart January 26, 1889, recorded in Logan County.

 

In 1910 Denver Wilhelm Anderson, age 39 born in Wisconsin of Swedish parents,  married but no spouse, is one of fifty lodgers in a dwelling.  Seems unlikely that a 19-year-old would have funds to complete a cash claim...
