OBITUARY
ULRICH ANDEREGG
Near Milan, Kansas, on Thursday, June 22, 1899, occurred the death from
heart trouble, of Ulrich Andregg (sp), brother of John Anderegg of this
city. Ulrich Andregg was born in Koppigen, Canton Berne, Switzerland in
April 1829. He emigrated to the United States in 1852 and lived in Ohio two
years. In 1854 he came to Iowa and engaged in farming near this place. In
1858 he was married to Miss Verona Steffen and by this union five children
were born, three boys and two girls. The oldest son died about fourteen
years ago. His wife, two sons and two daughters survive.-------to Kansas and
about three years ago he went to live on the Kansas farm leaving his family
to reside on the farm near town. When the information came that he was ill
his son Robert went to Kansas to take care of his father and after his death
accompanied the remains to this place. The burial took place Monday
afternoon at 5 o'clock at Dittmer's cemetery -
