William T. Long

 William cash-claimed  a quarter in 3, 6N 49W in 1891.

POSSIBLE  William T. Long, born March 1861 in Missouri, a silver miner in 1900 Pitkin County, with Anna B. May 1859 Norway, married eight years.  Father-in-law Mjoen Beravy Jan 1819 Norway is with them., widowed.

In 1865 Linn County Kansas, William Thomas Long is 4, born in Missouri, with parents Isaac J. 24 and Debora A. 25.  James M. 2, and Nancy Jane eleven months.

William T. Long married in Pitkin County April 25, 1892.  But FamilySearch doesn't have this record.

In 1910 Saguache County, William Long is 48, and niece Mabel Bye 15, born in Wisconsin and nephew Wllard Bye,  also Wisconsin are with him.  William is a foreman at a tin camp.

Isaac Jasper Long 1839-1875 and Deborah Ann (Giddens) Long 1838-1920 are buried in Cedar County, Missouri.

 James long was the informant on "Debbie's" death certificate.

WILLIAM C. LONG

Lemuel Long 1831-1910 and Nancy J. Long 1837-1914 are buried in Monroe County, Iowa.

William Long, born about 1857 in Iowa, living in Monroe County, Iowa in 1880.  One tree said he died in Logan County in 1911, and that a brother A. B. Long, born 1877 in Iowa, died June 20, 1949 in Sterling., and another brother Valentine Hazelwood Long born Dec 9, 1859 in Appanoose County, Iowa, died Dec 11, 1923 in Willard, Logan County.

In 1900 Monroe County Sam Long 68 and Nancy J. 62 have Asa B. 22, Maud I. 18, Martin S. 25, Lizzie M. 20, and they have Alfred L. 1.

Martin S. and Elizabeth are in Logan County in 1910, with Alfred 11, Donald 9, Purl 7, Lowel 4, and Willie 1.

One tree said Martin died in South Dakota in 1918, but that might be another - Martin D. Long 1875-1918 113245214

 Nancy (Hughes) Long's 1914 obituary said Martin was living at Bussey.

In 1920 Alfred, 21, Donald 19, Carl 17, and Lowell 14 are with grandfather Wiley S. Scott, 65 and widowed Mary E. Long 40

There's a William C. Long 1857-1910 and Adeline S. (Powell) Long 1865-1936 buried in Sterling, so there could be two William Long sojourns.

Asa Long proved up a quarter in 22, 7N 55W in 1914 - that's in the west part of Logan County.

He registered with a Willard address, saying he was born June 12, 1877, farming, nearest relative Ida.

Asa B. Long 1877-1949 and Ida Alice (Armstrong) Long 1881-1966 are buried in Sterling.

Hazelwood V. Long proved up a quarter in 9, 7N 55W in 1913.

 Hazelwood V. Long 1859-1923 and Mary Ellen Long 1865-1934 are also buried there.
