He graduated from Greeley high school and Colorado A&M. His parents at one time owned a farm a mile west of Greeley. He served some 34 years as an engineer for the Denver water board."

The bride wore a brown traveling costume and carried a bouquet of yellow snapdragons. The couple had a short wedding trip in the mountains before returning home. Stender, both of Greeley, was graduated from Teachers with the A.U. degree, and was prominent in musical activities of college and community. He is a member of l^unibdn Gamma Kappa fraternity. She had been a resident of Colorado for the past eight years, having come to the Greeley vicinity from Iowa. She was a native of Toledo, O. She and Mr. Gross were married four years ago last August. Besides her husband, Mrs. Gross is survived by one stepson, M. Armfield, Greeley; Mrs. Eda Brown, Milllken; Dwight D. Gross of Denver. She is survived also by several grandchildren." Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 o'clock at Macy's drawing room. Interment at Linn Grove.:
