In 1920 Milton is farming in Leroy precinct, married to Gail, 20 born in Iowa.  Next household is brother fred, then brother Philip.

In 1930 Padroni, Logan County, Milton is farming, Gail, 29, is teaching, and another teacher, Lois McMichael, 22, North Dakota, is living with them.

NETTIE

Funeral services for Nettle Matilda Sonnenberg of Fleming will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday from the LeRoy United Methodist Church, the Rev. Randy Foreman and the Rev. Robert Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the LeRoy cemetery.
Mrs. Sonnenberg, a Logan County resident since 1897, died Monday, March 28, 1988 at a Sterling nursing home. She was 90.
She was born June 3, 1897 at LeRoy, the daughter of Fredrick and Elizabeth Stahle Grauberger, attended schools at LeRoy and Logan County High School in Sterling.
She married Herman H. Sonnenberg, Nov. 8, 1919 in Sterling and the couple farmed in the LeRoy area until moving to Sterling in 1968. Mrs. Sonnenberg was the last of 17 brothers and sisters.Mr. Sonnenberg died April 8,1976.
Mrs. Sonnenberg was a member of the LeRoy United Methodist Church and Faith United Methodist Women's Club.
She is survived by two daughters, Geraldine Anderson of Galesburg, Ill., and Glenis Schmidt of Fleming; six grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

BENJAMIN

Benjamin Adolph Grauberger registered with a Fleming address, born June 23, 1893 at Leroy Colorado, farming by himself.

In 1920 Leroy precinct, Ben is married to Ethel, 24, born in Michigan, father in Michigan, mother in Canada.

In 1930 Logan County Ben and Ethel have Joyce E. 9, and Dwayne 5.

In 1940 Logan County Ben and Ethel have Duane 15 and Rosalie 9.

Benjamin 1893-1953 and Ethel (Hurley) Grauberger 1896-1990 are buried in Leroy.

FindaGrave says their children were Infant 1920-1920, Joyce E. Beherndsen 1920-1939, Duane Hurley Grauberger 1924-1985, and Rosalie Devere Grahlmann Cote 1931-2011.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at the LeRoy Methodist Church for Duane Hurley Grauberger of Fleming.
The Rev. John Baker officiated. Burial followed in the LeRoy Cemetery.
Mr. Grauberger, 61, died Wednesday, August 7, 1985 in Logan County Hospital.
He was born July 19, 1924, in Sterling to Benjamin A. and Ethel E. Hurley Grauberger. Mr. Grauberger attended Harding school nearby for 12 years, and Northeastern Junior College.
On Dec. 1, 1946, he married Doris Saylor at the LeRoy Church.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Grauberger drove the school bus for Harding and Fleming schools for more than 30 years, retiring last year. He farmed in the LeRoy community on the home farm all of his life.
He was a member of the LeRoy Methodist Church and Gideons International.
Mr. Grauberger is survived by his widow, Doris Grauberger of Fleming; his mother, Ethel Hurley Grauberger of Sterling; three Sons, Dennis Grauberger of Haxtun, Douglas Grauberger of Gering, Neb., and Donald Grauberger of Scottsbluff, Neb.; two daughters, Diane Harrington of Fort Collins and Debra Miller of Aurora; a sister, Rosalie Grahlmann of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; and five grand children.
Hettinger Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

According to one Web posting, Frances B Foxal was born July 1881, in Barton, Allegany, Maryland and married 1912 in  Lucas County,  Iowa, Frank Daniel GRAUBERGER the son of Frank GRAUBERGER and Kathrine _______.

Frank Daniel Grauberger registered with a Fleming address, farming by himself, born Sept 2, 1885, nearest relative Frances.

In 1920 Leroy precinct Frank is 34, Francis 38, and they have Melvin F. 5 and Evalin M. 3.

They're in Jefferson County, Colorado in 1930, Frank a truck driver, and brother-in-law Lucian J. Foxall, 30, a greenhouse worker, born in Iowa, is with them.

Frank and Frances are alone in 1940 Jefferson County, living on Sheridan Boulevard.

At a 1941 reunion in Chariton were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Grauberger, Mr. and Mrs.  Frank Grauberger and Evelyn Langworthy, of Denver.

Frank D. Grauberger's case was in Jefferson County probate court in October 1957.

In 1958 Frances is still on Sheridan, (wid Frank).

Frances "Foxal" Grauberger's case was in Jefferson County probate in August 1964.

HENRY

Henry Grauberger married Henrietta Marks Dec 4, 1901, recorded in Logan County.

Henry proved up a quarter in 18, 6N 49W in 1909.

Henry 1876-1944 and Henrietta 1881-1987 are buried in the Leroy cemetery. So are son Wesley W. 1908-2002 and his wife Bessie L.  Elliot Grauberger 1914-1984.

Grant Keith Grauberger, 92 of Sterling, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 in Sterling. Visitation will be Tues., April 22, 2014 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wed., April 23, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church, with services concluding at the church with the Rev. Jodie Harless officiating. Grant was born June 27, 1921 in Fleming, CO to Phillip and Dulcie Wade Grauberger. He graduated from high school and then entered the United States Army, serving during WWII from Sept. 1942 until his honorable discharge Nov. 1945. On August 31, 1947 in Sterling, Co he married Doris Ruth Green. Grant was a delivery driver for a milk company. He loved basketball, football and baseball and especially the Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies and watching his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports. He enjoyed spending time with his family, which was very important to him. Grant is survived by wife Doris R. Grauberger of Sterling; son Randy Grauberger and wife Cally of Johnstown; and daughters Rockie Grauberger of Sterling, Raedel Miethke and husband Greg of Sterling, Robin Grauberger of Sterling and RaeLynn Domsten and husband Landon of Las Animas, CO. He is also survived by five grandchildren Bree, Erin, Toby, Kristin and Megan; and four great grandchildren Kayden, Cooper, Makenna and Sawyer. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Phyllis Flater and Twila Foxhoven. Memorial may be made to Faith United Methodist Church or the City of Sterling Christmas Light Fund. - 

JONAS

Lucile Mae Harms, 79, of Fleming, died Monday, March 6, 2000, in Sterling of natural causes.
Visitation and viewing will be from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., with the family greeting friends from 4-6 p.m., on Thursday, March 10 at the Tennant Funeral Home in Sterling. The closed casket service will be held at 10 am, on Friday, March 10 at the Fleming Assembly of God Church. The Revs. James Call and Lloyd Boudloche will officiate. Burial will follow at the Fleming Cemetery.
Mrs. Harms was born on May 4, 1920 in the LeRoy community to Jonas and Sophie (Jonas) Grauberger.
She married Alva Harms on June 1, 1939 They lived near Fleming.  For many years she taught Sunday School, Dailey Vacation
Bible School and the story hour at the Assembly of God Church in Fleming.
Mrs. Harms is survived by her husband, Alva Harms of Fleming; one son, Arden Harms and wife Joyce of Fleming; one grandson, Cameron Harms of Denver; one granddaughter, Caren Harms of Denver; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fleming Assembly of God Church.
