Possibly the A. J. Gillespie, a plumber in 1910 Durango with his widowed father Hugh - the town marshal - 

Andrew James Gillespie registered in Durango, born Aug 30, 1890 at Durango, working for a mining company at Telluride, with a wife and baby. 

Andrew J. Gillespie and Mildred Gillespie divorced in La Plata County in 1918.  Mildred Gillespie, 23,  married Arthur S. Berkey, 45,  Sept 4, 1918, recorded in La Plata County.

In 1920 San Miguel County, Andrew J. Gillespie 29, is a ranchman,  boarding with widowed cook Henry Swanson, 54.

In 1860 Cambria County, Pennsylvania, Andrew Gillespie is 30, Mary 30, with Edward 5, Hugh 3, Catherine 2, and Ellen six months.

In 1880 Harlan County, Nebraska, Andrew and Mary are 40, Edward 23, Hugh 22, Alice and Anna 18, Andrew 16, and John 14.  Possibly with the father Andrew and uncle Andrew they called a son "Jackson"

In 1885 Decatur County Kansas, Hugh F. Gillespie is 28 born in Pennsylvania, with parents Andrew Gillespie 54 and Mary 47, brothers John 21,  A.W. 22.

1893 Enid "Mr. A. Gillespie, the genial proprietor of the Arcade saloon says he is here to stay.  Mr. Gillespie has a fine assortment of wet good and cigars and requests the public to call and sample them.  He is a Coloradoan, being just lately from Denver.  The Arcade is on south Main street."

In 1900 Enid, Oklahoma  Andrew, born April 1828 has been married 45 years to Mary May 1840, both Ireland, with Alice Jan 1863 and John July 1866, both Pennsylvania.

1900 Garber (Oklahoma) Trumpet "Miss Alice Gillespie, sister of the Gillespie Brothers, visited the Lanahan family Saturday and Sunday."

January 25, 1900 Enid Weekly Wave "Annie B. Gillespie and husband to Alice Gillespie, w.d. lots 5 6 7 bld 17, Jonesville, $1000.  U.S. to Alice Gillespie, pat, ne 21 22 6w.  Alice cash-claimed a quarter in section 21, 22N 6W in 1898.

Edward Gillespie cash-claimed a quarter in 21, 22N 6W in 1900.

August 1900 "Andrew Gillespie Sr. has three cows for sale.  Call at the farm of his son Andy Gillespie."

John William Gillespie 1867-1953 - died in California, buried in Calvary Cemetery, Enid Oklahoma.

Hugh F. Gillespie married Mrs. Eleanor Tuthill April 17, 1918, recorded in La Plata County.  In 1920 they're in Bremerton, Washington, where he's a boat builder, 63,born in Pennsylvania,  and she's 46, born in Iowa.

Possibly related to Anna Hall Gillespie - cash-claimed a quarter in 5N 60W in Morgan County in 1911 - but that's fifty miles away.

Coleman B. Gillespie proved up two quarters in 18, 9N 53W in 1920 - about thirty miles away.
