Augusta's late husband might be the brother of Charles Falk, a shoemaker in 1880 Rio Grande County, born about 1845 in Baden.  Wife Elizabeth 1847, England, son Frederick 7 born in England, Charles 4 New York, and Gregory 2, New York.

August Falke died at his home in Bazile Mills at noon last Saturday of paralysis. He was in his sixty-ninth year.

He was born in Germany and had been married 43 years. He was the father of three children, one son and two daughters.

The funeral was held Monday from Zion Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. Buddenhagen. Burial was made in the Creighton cemetery.

He had lived in this vicinity a number of years and was highly respected by all.
