This is the best match so far:

In 1900 Moniteau County Edward, born Sept 1866 in Ohio, follows John Nov 1837 and Anna Eli Dec 1844, both born in Switzerland.  Siblings are John M. Feb 1872, Charles S. May 1880, Walter A. Nov 1882, Oscar Aug 1886, and Emma Aug 1886.

Following Edward are Malinda Knipker, aunt May 1858 Ohio, and cousin Sarah Reutter July 1886 Missouri.

One tree said Edward married Margaret Oesterly Nov 17, 1918 in Moniteau County.  She might be the Margaret M. Osterloh born Sept 1885 in Missouri to John G. and Mary M. Osterloh.  In 1900 they're in Montgomery County, Missouri.

In 1920 Moniteau County Edward, 42, said he's married, but no spouse.   His hired man has a wife and child.

In 1930 Moniteau County Edward is 53, Margret 45, farming, and they're still there in 1940.

Edward, born Sept 17, 1866 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio to John Mutti and Elizabeth Beutler,  was widowed when he died March 3, 1958 in  Moniteau County.  He's buried in Evangelical Cemetery, as is Margaret - 1873-Oct 27, 1943.

Malinda (Beutler) Knipker was the daughter of Niklaus Beutler and Rosina Andres, natives of Bern, Switzerland. She was the eighth born of ten children: Rosina, Gottfried, Anna Elizabeth, Johannes, Magdalena, Gottlieb, Caroline, Malinda, Johannes (John) and Henry, born in Switzerland and Ohio and raised on the family farms. Her family moved to Moniteau County, Missouri before 1870.
So Malinda was probably sister to Anna Eli Mutti.
