FERDINAND

Fredinand H. Einspahr 1879-1927 is buried in Minden, Nebraska # 60918465.
"FERDINAND HEINRICH EINSPAHR was born June 29, 1879, in Wanda Township near Juniata,Nebraska. He was the third child born to Peter C. and Auguste F. (nee Berndt) Einspahr. The Reverend Ernest Flach baptized Ferdinand as an infant. Zion Lutheran Church in Wanda Township had not been built yet, and Ferdinand may have been baptized at his parents'home. The Reverend Wilhelm Wambsganss confirmed Ferdinand March 18, 1894, at Zion Lutheran Church in Wanda Township near Juniata, Nebraska.
Elfrieda Plambeck was born January 30, 1882, south of Yutan, Nebraska, and her parents were Henry George and Rosanna (nee Wuthrich)Plambeck. (Her father was an immigrantfrom Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, and her mother was an immigrant from Lueg,Switzerland.) The Plambeck family moved to Wanda Township in late 1885 or early 1886. The Reverend Wilhelm Wambsganss confirmed Elfrieda April 3, 1898, at Zion Lutheran Church in Wanda Township near Juniata, Nebraska.
Ferdinand Einspahr was united in marriage with Miss Elfrieda Plambeck on October 31,1902, and the Reverend Reinhold Ludwig presided over the ceremony. The Einspahr's were blessed with seven children, and five of them reached adulthood. Mr. Einspahr's occupation was mainly real estate, but he also engaged in farming part of the time. His occupation was the reason for he and his family moving to various locations. First, they first resided near Hastings, Nebraska, where their son Raymond was born. Then, they moved to Kenesaw, Nebraska, in 1906,where their son Clinton was born. Next, they resided at Artesia, New Mexico, and their daughter Fern was born there in 1909. The Einspahr's returned to Nebraska, about a year later, and they resided near Roseland, where their daughter Garnet was born in 1911. Soon, they moved to Kenesaw, Nebraska, again. Their son Sylvester was born there in 1912. About that time Ferdinand became a 1912 Overland automobile agent, and then he had a job selling "Bockstader"hoses. Finally Ferdinand and Elfrieda resided at Elwood, Nebraska, where their youngest daughter Irene was born in1914.
The marriage of Ferdinand and Elfrieda did not last. Elfrieda left Ferdinand in 1919, and they were divorced soon thereafter. Elfrieda married their neighbor George Bunger on June 17, 1924.
Ferdinand Einspahr later married the widow Meyer on July 15, 1926, at the Zion Lutheran parsonage in Wanda Township near Juniata,Nebraska. The Reverend Arthur W. Wilk performed the ceremony. His bride was Mrs. Emma E. C. (nee Koch) Meyer from nearby Minden, Nebraska. Ferdinand and Emma Einspahr and her four children moved to Flagler, Colorado, soon after the wedding. The newlyweds engaged in farming northwest of Flagler. The Einspahr's became the foster parents of his brother Ernst's baby girl Elvera on October 14, 1926, when Ernst's wife passed away. Elvera remained in this household until she was about eight or nine years old.
Nearly a year later tragedy arrived when Ferdinand was involved in a car-train accident near Flagler, on October 10,1927. He died in the back room of"William's Pharmacy" in Flagler, at the age of 48 years, 3 months, and 11 days. His funeral service was held at Zion Lutheran Church in Flagler, Colorado, and then his body was transported to Minden, Nebraska, where he was buried at the Koch family plot at the Minden Cemetery.
His wife Emma, his 3 sons and 2 daughters, his four stepchildren, his parents, 8 brothers and 3 sisters survived Ferdinand Einspahr. "

July 1910 Wray, Colorado "Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Einspahr of Kenesaw, Nebr., came to Wray Wednesday in search of land, stopping a few days at the New Commercial hotel."
BERNHARDT

Bernardt is buried in Lexington, Nebraska # 60919839,
"Bernhardt C Einspahr, died Thursday, January 14, 1960. He was aged 79 years, four months and 22 days.
The deceased was baptized and confirmed at the Juniata Zion Lutheran Church, known as Wanda.
He was united in marriage with Emma Plambeck on April 6, 1902. To this union were born eight children, five daughters and three sons.
He was united in marriage on August 2, 1953, with Sophie Brauer, who also preceded him in death on July 5, 1958.
His death is mourned by Mrs Susetta Stichweh, Mrs. Mildred Berg, Harley H Einspahr, Mrs Lavada Harrison, Marcus Einspahr, Wensel Einspahr, Eleanor Polzin, Delores Jochem; three son-in-laws, three daughters-in-laws, 33 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, seven brothers, Amandus, Julius, Ernest, Peter, Rev Reinhardt, Arthur and Lawrewnce, three sisters, Mrs Minnie Nienhueser, Mrs Lena Gangwich and Mrs Louise Roeder and many other relatives and friends.
Two memorial services were held Monday, January 18 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Elwood and the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington.
Following the services in Lexington the remains were laid to rest in Greenwood cemetery, Lexington."

June 11, 1959 Holyoke Colorado "Ervin D. (Bill) Einspahr, who had lived in Phillips County since 1927, passed away Sunday afternoon at the Phillips County Hospital after a sudden illness.
He had not been in good health for some time but had been able to handle his farming and livestock interests. He was stricken Sunday morning while preparing to go to church and was brought to the hospital, where he passed away at about 4:15 p.m.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 o’clock yesterday afternoon at Zion Lutheran Church, with Rev. Karl Nierman officiating. Interment was at Holyoke Memorial Park. Arrangements were in charge of the Lewis Funeral Home.
A son of J.G. and Minnie Einspahr, Ervin Dietrich Einspahr was born September 17, 1904, at Kenesaw, Nebraska. He was baptized at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Kenesaw, and on May 2, 1920 he was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church at Kenesaw. He was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Holyoke.
He was united in marriage to Elnora Schmidt of Amherst on December 21, 1932. To this union was born one son, Richard. The family had lived on a farm a few miles east of Holyoke for some time.
Surviving Mr. Einspahr are his wife, Elnora; one son, Richard at home; three brothers, Walter, Ovid; Frank, Kearney, Nebraska, and Emil, Haxtun; one sister, Mrs. Laura Rethmeier, Julesburg, and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mrs. Emma Grant."


ERNST

In 1930 Kit Carson County, Ernest is farming, 40, widowed, with Harold 16, Nelda 14, Ellen 12, Orval 10, all five born in Nebraka, with Gernieda 6 and Laverne L. 5 born in Colorado.

Ernst Johann Gustav Einspahr 1889-1967, dying in Denver, is buried in Flagler # 15756045, with spouses Emma Caroline (Plagens) Einspahr 1889-1926 and Emma Amelia Maria (Koch( Einspahr 1895-1997.

"Ernst J.G. Einspahr, 77, of Holyoke passed away Thursday morning, April 6, at Presbyterian hospital in Denver. He had been in failing health for about two years and was hospitalized in Denver for seven weeks prior to his death.
Services were held at Zion Lutheran Church here at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 10, with Rev. James Pomeroy officiating. Interment was at the Flagler, Colorado cemetery. The Lewis Funeral Home of Holyoke was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Einspahr was one of 19 children of Peter C. and Augusta Berndt Einspahr, 13 of whom grew to adulthood, were married and reared families. He was born May 5, 1899, at Kenesaw, Nebraska, and grew to manhood there. He was baptized on May 9, 1889, and was confirmed in the Wanda, Nebraska Lutheran congregation on May 24, 1903.
On April 10, 1912, he was united in marriage to Emma Plagen. To this union seven children were born, all of whom survive. The family moved to Flagler, Colorado in 1921 and Mr. Einspahr engaged in farming and carpenter work. His wife passed away on October 14, 1926.
Mr. Einspahr moved to Holyoke in 1948 and worked at the carpenter trade in this community until his retirement. He was married to Emma Koch on October 21, 1951.
Survivors include his widow, Emma, Holyoke; three sons, Harold Einspahr, Denver, Orval Einspahr, Webster City, Iowa, and LaVern Einspahr, Flagler; four daughters, Nelda, Mrs. Harry Kottmeyer, Estes Park, Elbe, Mrs. John Geer, Boulder, Bernieda, Mrs. C.E. Kleber, Davenport, Nebraska, and Elvera, Mrs. Harold Moore, Greeley.
Also surviving are four brothers, Peter Einspahr, Denver, Rev. Reinhard Einspahr, Culbertson, Nebraska, and Arthur and Lorenz Einspahr, both of Holyoke; one sister, Mrs. Lena Gangwisch, Denver; 29 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends."

Alma (Leseberg) Einspahr 1915-1982 is buried in Flagler # 15793175, with Ernst's son Harold P. Einspahr, 1913-1984.

"Orval Einspahr, 78, Webster City, died Monday, June 29, 1998 at the Season Hospice Center at Rochester, Minn. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Webster City, with Rev. Travis Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery prior to the service time. Graveside military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 191 of Webster City. Visitation will be at the church Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and until 9 a.m. Friday.
Orval Fritz Arthur Einspahr, son of Ernst and Emma (Plagens) Einspahr, was born Dec. 12, 1919 at Kenesaw, Neb. He attended schools at Flagler, Colo., graduating in 1938. He also attended Concordia Teacher’s College in Seward, Neb. During World War II, he served as sergeant in the U.S. Army - 338th Regiment in the European Theater of Action. He was awarded the Bronze Star. On June 20, 1946, he married Dorothy Dreyer at Fenton. The couple resided in Webster City. He has been employed at International Harvester, Peoples Natural Gas, the City of Webster City Water Department, Butternut Bread Company, Montgomery Wards, and at the U.S. Postal Service for 27 years in Webster City and Fort Dodge.
He is survived by his wife; son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Susan Einspahr, Rochester, Minn.; daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Lance Lorentzen, Decorah, Julie and Timothy Muther, Rockford, Ill., and Mary Ellen and Charles West, St. Paul, Minn.; grandchildren, Joshua Bottorff, Brita Lorentzen, Mary and Thomas Einspahr, and Hannah and Katrina Muther; great-grandchildren, Cody and Cameron Marvin; sisters Nelda Kottmeyer, Estes Park, Colo., Elbe Geer, Boulder Colo., and Elvera Mueller, Greeley, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Emma Einspahr; brothers, Harold and LaVern Einspahr; and sister, Bermueda Kleber.
Mr. Einspahr was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, where he was an Elder, a choir member, a volunteer of the Lutheran Braille Workers, American Legion Post 191, Lutheran Laymen’s League, and the Webster City Birthday Club. He was also a driver of Meals on Wheels for several years, and an RSVP volunteer."

"Elbe Wilhelmina Susetta Einspahr Geer died August 30, 2018 at the age of 100.
Elbe was born January 5, 1918 in Kenesaw, Nebraska to Ernst Einspahr and Emma Plagens, the third of seven children. The family moved to Colorado when she was three years old and settled on a section of land near Flagler, Colorado. Her mother died when Elbe was eight. She attended a one-room school through the 8thgrade and graduated from Flagler High School in 1934. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder at the age of sixteen and received a B.A. in 1938. While at the university she met John Allen Geer of Wheeling, West Virginia. They were married on May 25, 1940 in Longmont, Colorado.
Elbe taught school in Eastern Colorado during WWII while John was in the army. They returned to Boulder in 1948 where they raised a family and remained for the rest of their lives.
While in college, Elbe and John were part of a mission congregation which was the roots of Grace Lutheran Church which last year celebrated its 80thanniversary. Elbe was very active in the church. In the early years she held leadership positions in the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. She was a faithful member of many bible study groups, and enjoyed the company of the quilting group until just recently. Many times Elbe was the first woman to hold a particular position such as Elder on the church council.
Elbe is survived by daughters Susan Swaeby of Longmont, CO, Nancy Metcalf of Boulder, CO, Lora (Fred) Lindblom of La Mesa, CA, and son John (Jack) Geer (Jodi Williams) of Boulder, CO. Also surviving are four grandchildren; Cynthia (Philip) Dvorak of Santa Clarita, CA, Jennifer (Mark) Zaccone of Broomfield, CO, Katelin (Marcus) Ainsworth of Bend, OR, and Taylor (Heidi) Lindblom of Huntington Beach, CA; and four great-grandchildren Addison Zaccone, Whitley Dvorak, Ainsley Ainsworth, and William Dvorak. She is survived by her sister Elvera Mueller of Ocala, FL and many nieces and nephews. Elbe is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, John Allen Geer, and five siblings.
Elbe will be remembered for her positive attitude, optimism, gratitude, humor, grace and faith. She set a wonderful example of how to be a good mother and especially a fun and loving grandmother, and truly lived her Christian faith. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A service of remembrance in celebration of Elbe’s life will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 1001 13thStreet, Boulder, at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 with a reception to follow at the church. A graveside service will precede the memorial service at 9:30 A.M. at Green Mountain Cemetery."

Lavern Lorenz Einspahr was born Dec 6, 1924 in Arriba, Kit Carson County to Ernst J. Einspahr and Emma Plagens, dying January 25, 1991.

He married Opal Hubbard on August 13, 1947 in Kit Carson County.

"Opal Einspahr age 83, of Flagler, Colorado passed away July 20, 2009 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Opal Einspahr was born on December 29, 1925, to E. Russell and Mabel (Clark) Hubbard, at the family home near Leoti, Wichita County, Kan. She attended country school for six years, and later attended school in Leoti, Kan., where she graduated from high school with the class of 1943.
The family moved to a farm north of Flagler in 1943 and Opal worked for Winterowd Grocery Store until she married LaVern Einspahr on August 13, 1947. To this union was born Paulette, Loren, Keith, Jane, and Pamela.
Opal joined Zion Lutheran Church in 1947 and was active in church activities as well as in the community. She was active in school while their children attended Flagler Schools. Opal was the bookkeeper at LP Gas Service for 23 years, and served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Flagler Cemetery Board for 18 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LaVern, of 45 years; five brothers, Vernon, Dean, George, Carter, and Leon; and two sisters, Nona Stransbury and Erma Dent. She is survived by Paulette and Dave Ahner of Dayton, Ohio; Loren and Ellen Einspahr of Farmington, N.M.; Keith and Cheryll Einspahr of Flagler; Jane Einspahr of Colorado Springs; and Pamela and James McKay of Akron. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Opal is also survived by her two sisters, Lola Droge of Seneca, Kan., and Lois Thompson of Seattle, Wa.; and one brother, Sidney Hubbard, of Stratton; and her sisters-in-law, Elbe Geer of Boulder, Elvera Mueller of Greeley, and Dorothy Einspahr of Webster City, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009 at 10:30 a.m., at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor James Elmshauser, officiating. Burial will follow in the Flagler Cemetery. Her grandsons, Tim and Nick Ahner, Aaron Einspahr, Patrick and Kyle Einspahr, Joe McKay, Shannon Hawks, and Tad Eurich are pallbearers. Granddaughters Cherri Eurich, Paula Hawks, Liana Einspahr, Amanda McKay, Jen Thomas-Ahner, Vanessa Einspahr, and Morgan Sayles are honorary pallbearers."

"Glenn Curtis Einspahr was born at Flagler, Colorado on February 18, 1926 to Peter C. Einspahr Jr., and Lillian Irene Einspahr (nee Lange). He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Flagler. He graduated from Zion Lutheran Elementary School in 1940, attended Flagler High School 1940-1943 and graduated from Concordia High School in Seward, Nebraska in 1944.
Glenn graduated from Concordia Teachers College with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in 1947. On July 8, 1947 he married Eva Ialene Mahoney at Emmaus Lutheran Church, Denver, Colorado. He was principal and a teacher at Grace Lutheran School in Kansas City, Kansas 1947-49. He attended the University of Denver 1949-50 and was awarded a Master of Arts degree. In 1961 he received a Doctor of Education degree from this university. Glenn joined the faculty of Concordia Teachers College and High School in 1950.
In 1950, Glenn and his family joined St. John Lutheran Church in Seward. His activities as a member included chairmanship of the Public Relations Committee, Superintendent of the Sunday School, youth Bible class teacher, Elder, and Vice Chairman of the congregation.
Glenn passed away on November 11, 2016 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 90 years, 8 months, and 24 days.
Glenn was preceded in death by his wife of almost 63 years. He is survived by two daughter's, one son in law; two son's and two daughter's in law; ten grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held November 19, 2016 at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Seward, NE. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery, Seward, NE."

John Cecil Mahoney 1879-1949 died in Denver, and is buried in Lafayette, COlorado # 45584965.

"Eva I. Einspahr, 84, of Seward, died April 23, 2010 in Lincoln. She was born January 23, 1926 in Flagler, Colo. Member of St. John Lutheran Church; St. John Ladies Aid; Concordia Guild and Tower Guild; Nebraska Nurses Association. Served as Director of Nursing at the Seward Memorial Hospital for over 21 years.
Survivors: husband, Dr. Glenn C. Einspahr of Seward; sons and daughters-in-law, Owen and Margaret Einspahr of Fredericksburg, Va., Jack and Kathryn Einspahr of Denver; daughters and sons-in-law, Glennda and Mark Joyce of Alamosa, Colo., Mary McCuistion of Peoria, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Frances Smith of Hemet, Calif.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Lillian Einspahr of Lakewood, Colo. and William and Lorna Einspahr of Wheatridge, Colo.; many nieces and nephews."

March 1937 Aurora, Colorado "Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Einspahr, of Stratton, Neb., stopped on their honeymoon trip for a visit with Mrs. Elnspahr’s aunt, Mrs. John Townsend. Sunday. Mrs. Townsend’s sister, Mrs. Young was also a visitor."

September 28, 1944 Wray Colorado "Lillian Eska Taylor Mansfield was born in Holt county, Missouri, December 30, 1872 and departed this life at the home of her daughter Mrs. Lula Einspahr in Imperial, Nebr., on September 18, 1944, at the age of 71 years, 9 months and 11 days.
She moved with her parents to Kansas where she spent the greater part of her childhood, coming to Colorado in 1888. On November 30, 1891 at Burlington, Colo., she was united in marriage with Daniel B. Mansfield and to this union 10 children were born, one of them preceding her in death.
She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter by a former marriage, Mrs. Jessie Winfrey of Burlington; Mrs. Mary Smith and Shelton Mansfield of Wray; Mrs. Lula Einspahr of Imperial, Nebr.; Mrs. Nola Lauer of Des Moines, Iowa; Charles Mansfield of Richmond, Calif.; Glen Mansfield of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Elisa Chirrick and Mrs. Anna Wollipeter of Wilmington, Calif.; 34 grandchildren and 22 great-grand-children; one sister Mrs. Eliza Snead of Ridgefield, Wash.
Her husband preceded her in death.
Mrs. Mansfield was a kind and loving mother with a host of relatives and friends and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in St. Francis, Kansas, Wednesday, September 20, at 2 p. m., and burial was in the St. Francis Cemetery. The Rattler extends sincere sympathy to the chiland close relatives of the deceased."

REINHARDT

Reinhardt Christian Albert Einspahr 1896–1972 "Reinhardt Christian Albert Einspahr was born May 22, 1896 in Wanda Township near Juniata, Nebraska. He was the fifteenth of nineteen children born to Peter C. and Auguste F. (nee Berndt) Einspahr. The Reverend Wilhelm Wambsganss baptized Reinhardt as an infant at Zion Lutheran Church in Wanda Township near Juniata, Nebraska. The Reverend Martin Schmidt confirmed Reinhardt March 20, 1910, at Zion Lutheran Church.
Reinhardt attended elementary school at Zion Lutheran Parochial School for six years, and then he attended public school at Roseland, Nebraska for four years. Then he received his college and seminary training at Concordia Teachers College in Seward, Nebraska, at St. Paul College in Concordia, Missouri, and at Concordia Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. he served his vicarage at the Lutheran congregation in Fairmont, Oklahoma in 1921.
The Reverend Reinhardt C. A. Einspahr was united in marriage with Miss Helen E. Schukei at Zion Lutheran Church in Wanda Township near Juniata, Nebraska on July 30, 1922. The Reverend Arthur W. Wilk presided over the ceremony. Reverend Einspahr received his first Call to serve as the pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Charleston, Oklahoma. He was ordained and installed there in September of 1922, and he served that congregation for two years. Reverend Einspahr and his wife moved to Hinton, Oklahoma in 1924, and he was the pastor at St. John's Lutheran Church for four years.
The Reverend Einspahr accepted his third Call to serve as the pastor at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Haxtun, Colorado, in 1928. The following year Reverend Einspahr accepted a pastorate at Zion Lutheran Church in nearby Holyoke, Colorado, where he remained for the next twenty-seven years.
The next Call accepted by Reverend Einspahr was from St. John's Lutheran Church in Culbertson, Nebraska, and the Lutheran Church at nearby Trenton, Nebraska in 1956. He faithfully served his Lord at these congregations until 1972, when Reinhardt became ill and was diagnosed with cancer. Following the celebration of Reinhardt's 50th Anniversary in the ministry and also the celebration of Reinhardt and Helen Einspahr's Golden Wedding Anniversary, the Einspahr's moved to Greeley, Colorado, to reside with their eldest son Burnette.
The Reverend Reinhardt C. A. Einspahr passed away the following November 28, 1972 at the old age of 76 years, 6 months, and 6 days. The Reverend Lyle R. Mueller officiated the funeral service for Reinhardt at Trinity Lutheran Church in Greeley, Colorado. Interment was at the nearby Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley, Colorado. Reinhardt's wife Helen, his three sons - Burnette, Virtus, an Verne Einspahr of Greeley, Colorado, one daughter - Wanda Ruth Hughes of Greeley, Colorado, his eight grandchildren, two step-granddaughters, his three brothers, Peter Jr., Arthur, and Lorenz, and his sister "Lena" Gangwisch survived him."


"Burnette Einspahr, 87, of Greeley, CO passed away November 29, 2011 at the Hospice Inpatient Unit in Greeley.
He was born on January 23, 1924 in Hastings, NE to Reinhardt and Helen (Schukei) Einspahr. Burnette grew up in Holyoke, CO and graduated from Holyoke High School in 1943. He worked as a watchmaker in Holyoke, Fort Morgan and Greeley; retiring from Weiss Jewelers in 1987. On November 18, 1956 he married Anna Shull (Zabrowski) in Holyoke.
Burnette was very active in church. He enjoyed singing in the church choir in his younger years and was a loving and devoted husband and father. He also enjoyed putting model cars together. He was a proud and long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Burnette is survived by his daughters, Burnita (Blake) Walters of Greeley, Joyce Thomas of San Jose, CA and Eddie (Robert) Lamb of Wellington, CO; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and brothers, Virtus (Joyce) Einspahr and Verne (Rachel) Einspahr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna; his parents; and his sister, Wanda Hughes. "

"Anna Nell Einspahr, 81, of Greeley, died Saturday, Dec. 25, at Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado inpatient unit, Greeley.
She was born Anna Nell Zabrowski on June 28, 1923, in Denver to Frank and Edith Lyndal (Saylor) Zabrowski.
Mrs. Einspahr grew up in Del Rio, Texas, where she attended Del Rio High School. During World War II, she built and tested gyroscopes for airplane use, and piloted supply planes in Texas.
She moved to Holyoke in the early 1950s, where she met and married Burt Einspahr on Nov. 18, 1956. They settled in Greeley where she worked for Greeley-Evans School District 6 as a school nutritionist for 28 years and won numerous awards for nutrition education programs.
Mrs. Einspahr was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Greeley for 25 years, taught Sunday school and worked with the Mission Guild.
She loved working with children, serving the community, handicrafts and gardening.
Survivors are her husband, Burt Einspahr of Greeley; three daughters, Joyce Thomas of San Jose, Calif., Eddie Marie Lamb of Fort Collins and Burnita Walters of Greeley; two sisters, Marilyn West of Los Gatos, Calif., Lyndal du Turenne of Paris; a stepbrother, David Lorance of Carbon, Texas; and seven grandchildren."

"Kit Carson County resident Harold Everett Einspahr died on June 13, 2006 in Denver Colorado. He was 69 years old.
Harold was born on January 11, 1937 in Pendleton, Oregon to Everett and Pearl (Krumm) Einspahr. He was one of two children.
On November 19, 1972, Harold married Anna Mae (Jones) in Burlington, Colorado.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Pearl (Krumm) Einspahr.
He is survived by his wife Anna of the home and one daughter; Laura. He is also survived by three grandchildren; Matt Mohammadi and girlfriend Micha, Perry Mohammadi and Michael Newman. He is also survived by one great granddaughter Rheanna. He is also survived by his sister Shirley Potts of Portland, Oregon.
A graveside service was held on June 22, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Ray Wagoner officiating. Burial will be held in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation was held on June 22, 2006 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Love Funeral Home in Burlington. Memorials may be made in his name and may be left at the First National Bank in Burlington."
