1944 Ogden "Word has been received by his family of the promotion of Sgt. Lowell L. Clark, air corps technician, to a crew chief. Sgt. Clark, a resident of Ogden, has been in the Solomon islands for the past year. His wife is busy at home, taking_ care of their 16-month-old son, Lowell L. Clark II, and keeping up the home at 2270 Harrison while his parents are employed in war work at the Utah ASF depot. His mother, Mrs. Hazel Clark, is employed in the signal supply section and his father, Arthur B. Clark, is employed in the engineer supply section. Both of his parents are purchasing war bonds to the extent of 15% of their paycheck each payday. Two other members of the family are in the service: His sister, Lieut. Marjorie C. Updegrove, army nurse, who is stationed at Bushnell general hospital, and her husband, Coxswain John W. Updegrove, who has served in the south Pacific theatre of war for the past 18 months as a deep sea diver"
Arthur B. Clark 1898-1956 is buried in Ogden, Utah # 33608515.
"Arthur Benjamin Clark, 58, formerly of Ogden,
died yesterday in Pensacola. Mr. Clark was employed as a
repairman for the Utah Power and Light Co. while in Ogden.
He was an elder in the LDS Church, was a ward teacher and
had been a secretary to the Aaronic priesthood.
He was born Feb. 26, 1898, in Sardinia, N. Y.,
a son of Albert and Charlotte F. Clark. He was reared and educated
in New York. On Feb. 10, 1918, he married Alta Hazel Kettenring
in Burlington, Colo. Surviving are his widow, one son and daughter,
Lowell L. Clark, Vancouver, Wash., and Mrs. John (Marjorie) Updegrove,
Elgin, Fla.; six grandchildren, two brothers, Henry A. Clark, Ogden;
Lewis Clark, Flagler, Colo.;
one sister, Mrs. Mabel Beatty, Elagler, Colo..
Funeral services will be announced by Aultorest Mortuary, 836 36th St., Ogden."
One tree said Alta died in Salt Lake City on July 28, 1981.
She ahd married Arvis O. Jensen, who died in 1990.
Marjorie Elaine Updegrove, born at Flagler on January 13, 1919 to Arthur B. Clark and Alta Hazel Kettenring, died at Wichita Falls, Texas on December 19, 1970, usual residence Altus, Oklahoma, a nurse.
She was to be buried in Salt Lake City.
Lowell Lavelle Clark, 1921-1996 is buried in
Pocatello, Idaho # 43059792, with Emma 1922-2001.
MARTHA (FATTEY) BURKETT

Martha, born Dec 14, 1859 in New York to Henry Fattey of Germany and Martha of the U.S., died in Bancroft, Idaho on June 6, 1927, informant Henry A. Clark.
She was to be buried in Pocatello, FindaGrave # 43058807.
HENRY A. CLARK
This might be a completely different Henry Clark than the one who was definitely in Bannock County, Idaho in 1930...
1944 Pocatello "Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Clark, each 27. Grand hotel, were arrested Wednesday night on charges of disturbing the peace. They were fighting, police said. She was released on a $10 bond but he was retained at the city jail. "
1947 Pocatello "Geraldine Clark, Idaho Falls, was divorced from Henry A. Clark whom she married November 13, 1945. She was awarded custody of a minor child and $25 monthly support money. She charged cruelty."
1948 Pocatello, "Henry A. Clark, 31, was in the Bonneville county jail Saturday on charge of contempt of court, growing out of a divorce action."
1949 "Divorce Suit Filed After two marriage attempts with the same man, Geraldine Clark filed a divorce suit in Bonneville county district court Saturday against Henry Clark. She charged cruelty and asked custody of a minor son. The complaint stated they were married November 13, 1945, divorced December 5, 1947, and remarried only last November 13."
