She became a widow at the age of twenty-six, four children, two sons and two danghters, being; left dependent upon her. Three years later she was united in marriage to D. W. Landon. Three sons were born to this union. At the time of her death she is survived by all her children except her youngest son, who lost his life by drowning, when but twenty-four years of age. She has lived a faithful christian life for the past fifty-five years and beloved by all who knew her. Her greatest pleasure was found in trying to do good to others with whom she came in contact. She has left a vacancy in the home circle that cannot be filled on this earth.
