"Died: At the residence of his father-in-law C. R. Rush, in this city, C. H. Cissel Friday, April 19, aged 25 years. His death was from the effects of an attack of typhoid fever he had three years ago. The funeral services were held in the M. E. church Sunday morning, conducted by Rev. Saville, the interment being made at the Sappa cemetery. HIs father was here from Lafayette, Ind. Mr. Cissel had been connected with railroad affairs several years and last fall was agent at Seldon on the C. K. & N. line east of this place where he grew better and gained flesh and he thought at the time that the climate would affect a cure. His old disease had too strong a hold of him and his constitution could not stand the last attack. He leaves a wife to mourn his loss, who has the sympathy of the community in her sorrow.
