Word has been received here that John D. Chamberlain, 88, a former Jerauld county pioneer resident,
died Friday afternoon at his home in Pueblo, Colo. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. C. C. Wallis of Mitchell, Mrs. L. W. Torrence, Minneapolis, Kans.,
Miss Gertrude Chamberlain, Pueblo; Mrs. Estcl Cox, Pueblo; one son Otis J. Chamberlain, New Orleans, La.; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. C. F. Chamberlain,
10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death about four years ago. Funeral services will be held at 10 a. m. Monday at Pueblo.
Mr. Chamberlain lived on a farm near Alpena until about 1910. "
