"Jefferson P. Casady is one of a family of brothers who are thoroughly identified with the history and growth of the State of Iowa, the others being Hon. P. M. CASADY and Weir CASADY, of Des Moines, the late Hon. S. H. CASADY, of Sioux City, and J. N. CASADY, of Council Bluffs. Each of these has been active and energetic in all that pertained to the welfare and development of the State."
January 1917 "Mrs. Hannah J. Casady of Norwalk, Ia.,
widow of Weir Casady, died Tuesday night at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Emma Dyer of Dexter. Mrs. Casady was one of the
pioneers in Warren county and was an aunt of Simon Casady,
local banker."

held at the association rooms last evening, marked the close of a very prosperous year for this
worthy Institution, which has succeeded in Sioux City beyond the hopes of its promoters.

and Mrs. F. D. Hadley. as members of the board of directors,
had expired, and their successors were elected. Mrs. Hadley" was elected to succeed herself.
The other four women asked to be relieved of the duties of the office because of
other pressing duties."

Ida M. Casady, the principal,
is introducing some new ideas into the high school work, and the pupils say they like them."

Bull Moose, Roosevelt, and Progressive parties.
