March 1916 Flagstaff "Mrs. Mary Shaw of Denver arrived at Flagstaff and is the guest of her sister (probably should be daughter), Mrs. W.F. Travis"

April 1918 "Mr. and Mrs. Ferol Travis and the latter's mother came up from Phoenix in their Ford Wednesday to again reside in Flagstaff. Ferol has a position in the shipping department of Babbitt's store."

August 1918 Flagstaff "Mr. and Mrs. Ferol Travis, Mrs. Lee Alsup and Grant Shaw went to Prescott Saturday, making the trip by auto. The ladies will visit friends in that city for a week or more. Ferol and Grant, on the return trip SUndaoy, had to leave the auto near Maler owing to the bad condition of the road."

1918 Flagstaff "Quite a few changes have taken place at the local Santa Fe Depot this week. Ferol (Moki) Travis, formerly baggage man, but who for a few months has been holding a position with Babbitt Bros., is now night ticket agent, taking the place of Gaston Aubineau, who assumes the express agent’s job in place of J. F. Davis. The latter took over his old job of telegraph operator."

August 1922 Flagstaff " Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Travis, with Mr. and Mrs. Grant Shaw motored to Mormon Lake on Sunday, and had a successful day fishing."

(Estella was the daughter of Leslie Jaynes and May June Shaw. " Leslie met and married June Leona Shaw in old Colorado City, Colorado on June 1903.
When Leslie was a young man, he with his brother-in-laws had a gold mine and lumber business in Victor-Cripple Creek, Colorado. Don't know just when Leslie and June moved back to La Junta.
Leslie and June had eleven children: All Born in La Junta, Colorado.
Estella May(Jaynes) Deihl born in October 11, 1905 and died May 01, 1983 at the age of 78 in Delta, Colorado." )



Mamie Shaw Davis, widowed, spouse of Frank Lee Shaw, born 1 Apr 1867 in Prescott, Arizona, died 24 Aug 1936 in Coconino County, Arizona, Father: John Henry Strade, born in Sedalia, Missouri Mother: Hannah Smidth born in Pennsylvania.
She was to be buried in Flagstaff. The informant was Grant Arthur Shaw of the same address, 424 N. Humphrey.

"Services for Mrs. August L. Travis, 71, who came to Miami in 1907 from her native Colorado Springs, will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Grimshaw Bra-zill-Whitney Chapel, 5754 W. Glenn Drive. Burial will be in Resthavcn Park. Mrs. Travis, 6633 N. 67th Ave., was injured fatally Thursday in an auto pedestrian accident. She moved to Glendale from Miami in 1958. Survivors include a son, Howard R. of Flagstaff, and two grandchildren."

William Duncan Shaw of Flagstaff was to entrain on May 10, 1918 for Fort McDowell, California.

William Shaw, born October 7, 1892 at Longmont, Colorado, and Victoria Shaw, born in San Francisco on March 1, 1898, arrived in Hawaii on April 6, 1925.

NOT LIKELY In 1940 Phoenix, there's William Duncan Shaw 60 Head, but born in Missouri, a janitor, Dellis Shaw 47 Wife.

William D. Shaw registered for WWII in Oakland, California, with his wife at 1607 Grove Street. He was working at the Mare Island Navy Yard.

Stella Strode Age: 25 Marriage Date: 6 May 1903 Marriage Place: Flagler, Kit Carson, Colorado, USA Spouse: Albert C Fisher "Funeral services were held at the Congregational church in Flagler Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Stella D. Fisher, 75, who died at Eben-Ezer hospital Monday morning, May 18, 1953, following an illness of two months.
Mrs. Fisher was born in Mason, Tex., Sept. 28, 1877 and came to Eben-Ezer March 23 of this year. She is survived by her husband, Albert, of Flagler; a son, Weston of Flagler; two daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Boley, Battle Mountain, Nev., and Mrs. Ida Gwyn, Flagler, a brother, Will Strode, Flagler. Frezieres Funeral home was in charge of arrangements."
