"Jesse F. Fry, 59, a former Burlington resident, died suddenly at 6 o'clock
Saturday, Dec 16, 1950, at Hayward, Wis. He was born September 16, 1891 in Letsrt,
Wis. In 1913 he was engaged in farming in the Burlington vicinity and later
was employed for 14 years by the Vernon C. Sholes Mux Transport of Elgin.
For ten years he worked for B. S. Pearsan and for the last three years
resided at Hayward. Surviving are: his widow. Anna; son, Sgt. Walter A. Fry at
Eglin Field, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Thelma) Sholes
and Mrs. Donald (Cora) Ross, both of Elgin; three brothers,
Taylor of Delaward, O., Earl of Leonardburg, O., and Edward of Bezir, Ma;
four sisters, Mrs. James Vancura, Mansfield, O.,
Mrs. William McNlckol, Bellevue, O., Mrs. Louis Fridley, Columbus, O.,
Mrs. Charles Ross of Solon Springs, and six grandchildren. Services will be
held on Wednesday in the Stout Funeral Home at Elgin with Rev. John F. Shaefer,
pastor, of the First Evangelical Church officiating.
Burial will take place in Lake Street Memorial Park. "
