"Services for Clyde Baker, 84, Clovis, will be held at 2. p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, at Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. David Snyman will officiate.
Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Steed-Todd is handling arrangements.
Baker died Friday, Aug. 9, at Clovis High Plains Hospital. He was born Feb. 12. 1907.
He married Nancy Traylor Sept. 9, 1929, in Roswell and had been a Clovis resident for 40 years. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as manager of the telegraph office. He retired in 1973 after 50 years of service.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was a founder of the Good Sam Club. He was also a member of the Railroad Retirement Club and Senior Citizens.
He is survived by one son, David Baker of Amarillo, Texas; one sister, Wanda Ensminger of Boran, Kansas.; and two grandchildren.

"The funeral of Mrs. Hattie Mary Baker, who died December 26 of influenza, was held Wednesday afternoon at Bowling's undertaking parlors, Rev. J. C. Irwin of the Presbyterian church officiating. The deceased was born May 8, 1890, in Webster county, Iowa, and in April, 1907, moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wyman, to Colorado, where she was united in marriage to Pearl V. Baker on June 14, 1908. Shortly after her marriage she came to Hamilton.
She joined the Missionary Baptist church, of which she had been a faithful member ever since. Besides her husband she leaves a father, mother and sister. The family have the sympathy of a large circle of friends In their sorrow, "

1952 Iola, Kansas "Wanda Davis and son Jerry visited Mr. and Mrs. Perl Baker in Garnett Sunday. They found them both ill with the flu."

October 31, 1964 "Perl F. Baker, about 85, former resident of Allen County, died yesterday at the Anderson County Hospital in Garnett where he had made his home in recent years. Mr. Baker was born at Blue Mound.
Survivors include his widow, Merle, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Holmes of Garnett; a sister. Mrs. Elsie Young of Glassboro, N. J.; a brother, Ira Baker of Iola; three grandchildren and three great­grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Monday at the Farris Funeral Home in Garnett. Burial will be in the Golden Valley Cemetery southwest of Moran."

April 1968 " Mr. and Mrs. Russell Morrison called Sunday on Mrs. Merle Baker in Garnett. Mrs. Baker is staying at the home of Mrs. Joe Collins."
