Henry Schwyn, 26, married Bertha Wetzig on March 29, 1893 in Riey COunty, Kansas.
In 1900 Riley County, Henry is farming,
born Feb 1867 in Switzerland, immigrating in
1887. Bertha M. Oct 1868, Luella May 1894,
Martha Nov 1895, Lydia B. Oct 1897, and Ada M. Nov 1899 were all born in Kansas.
Henry claimed a quarter in section 30,
8S 51W in 1908.
In 1910 Kit Carson County, Henry is farming,
43 born in German Switzerland, married 17 years to Bertha 41 b. Luella 16, Martha 14, Lydia 12, and Ada 10 were all born in Kansas. Bertha has had four kids, three living.
Henry is buried in Flagler 1867-1936 # 15698253.

Ada Schwyn, single, 40, is a postmaster in Culberson, Texas in 1940.
Ada Marie Schwyn died January 2, 1955 in
Bell County, Texas. She was to be buried in Restlawn, El Paso.
One sibling was S. L. Field.
Miss Ada Marie Schwyn of Kent died yesterday in Temple. She was 55. She had lived in Kent 30 years and had been postmistress there for 20 years. She is survived by two sisters, including Mrs. S. L. Field of Van Horn. Funeral arrangements are pending with Kaster and Maxon.

Funeral services for Miss Ada Marie Schwyn of Kent will be hedl at 3 p. m. tomorrow in Raster and Maxon Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth Ford will officiate. Burial will be in Resllawn Memorial Park. Miss Schwyn was 55. She died in Temple Sunday.

Lydia Bertha Field, born Oct 20, 1897 in Riley, Kansas,
died in El Paso, Texas on May 17, 1973, widowed.
She was to be buried in Restlawn, El Paso.

LUELLA
In 1910 Luella Schwyn graduated from the eighth grade in Kit Carson County.
In 1913 Luella was teaching in Arriba, District # 3, Lincoln County, Colorado.
Luella A. Schwyn married Olaf M. Olson on September 17, 1917 in Kit Carson County.

Olaf Martin Olson was born Feb 17, 1885 in Union County, South Dakota to Ole Andreas Olson and Oleanna Johannesen.
Christopher Olson wrote that Olaf moved to Stratton, Colorado in 1907.
In 1920 Flagler, Olaf is 35, born in South Dakota, a carpenter. Luella A. is 25.
In 1930 Flagler, Olaf is 45, Luella A. 35,
O. Alfred 9, Gladys L. 8, Clarence H. 5, Mable M. 3, and newborn Leroy. E. all kids born in COlorado.
Olaf and Luella divorced in Kit Carson County on November 22, 1934.
Luella is in Salida, Colorado in 1940, 44, with Clarence 15, Mabel 13, and Leroy 10. They had been in Limon in 1935.
Olaf is buried in Flagler 1885-1959 # 13491555.
So is Ernest Leroy Olson 1929-1992 # 27484931, next to Olaf.
Clarence Henry Olson's sister Mabel M. (Olson) Swafford is buried in the Flagler cemetary.
Olaf Alfred Olson, 1920-2004, WWII Navy on the USS Utah,
is buried in Fort Collins # 96546648, with Betty Lou Borgens Olson 1926-2014.
"Betty Lou Olson, 87, of Loveland/Fort Collins peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014. She was born to the late John and Mary Kay Borgens on September 2, 1926, in LaSalle, CO. She enjoyed being in the medical field in Fort Collins and Lamar until she retired from Roche Biomedical Lab. She was an accomplished seamstress and designed custom draperies. On August 26, 1944 she married Olaf Alfred Olson. Betty and Olaf lived the first part of their marriage in Colorado Springs and later moved to the Fort Collins area where they raised their seven children. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Olaf "Al" of 59 years, 12 siblings, and granddaughter Yvonne Rene. She is survived by her daughters Kathy Parr (Mike); Susan Branom (Sam); Betty Lynn Rogers (Glenn); Cindy Cardinelli (Jr.); Pam Rix (James "Pat"); and her sons Lanny Olson (Rachael) and Jon Olson (Kathy). She was the proud grandmother of 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Her two sisters Madeline and Mildred as well as her half sister Helen also survive her. She was a woman of class, integrity, and determination, was proud of her German heritage and admired for her quick wit and sense of humor. She gave generously to her family. She was loved, respected and admired, first and foremost by her children for the values she instilled in them. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Wednesday April 23, 2014 with a service on Thursday at 10 am both at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens. "
Clarence Henry Olson was born in Flagler Sept 10, 1924, dying May 22, 1995.
He's buried in Flagler # 13477564, on the same stone as Rebeca G.

"Gladys Luella Olson Simonis died in her sleep
at home in Santa Cruz, California, on Friday,
August 6, 2010. She was born Feb. 26, 1922 in
Flagler, Colorado. She graduated from high school,
went to Blairs Business College in Colorado Springs,
CO. She worked at several jobs and was a personnel
supervisor for Woolworths in Eureka, CA
and also for Woolworths in San Jose, CA.
She loved gospel music and crossword puzzles,
but mostly she enjoyed being with her family.
She is survived by her daughters,
Sharon Goodrich and her husband Luke of
Boulder Creek, CA, Deanna Simonis of Rosamond,
CA and Lynelle Simonis of Boulder Creek, CA,
her grandchildren, Renee Nell and her husband
Nick, Luke Goodrich II, Lora Goodrich,
Matthew and Sheila Goodrich and a great
grandson, Tyler.
She was preceded in death by her
husband Henry Richard Simonis in 1983
and by her daughter Mardell Rena Simonis in 1951. At her request no services will be held. Private burial will be at Santa Cruz Memorial Park. "
"Burlington, Colorado resident and former Flagler, Colorado
resident Opal Emily Inez Dadson passed away on February 5, 2008 at the Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital in Burlington. She was 93 years old.
Opal was born on November 9, 1914 in Sargent County, North Dakota to Ole Martin and Emma (Peterson) Olson. She was one of two children. Opal attended school up in North Dakota through the 12th grade.
On November 26, 1936, Opal married Wesley C. Dadson in Kalamazoo, Michigan. To this union one daughter Judi was born.
Opal was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Flagler, she enjoyed playing bingo, cribbage, sewing, knitting and crocheting, and was very active with the Senior Citizen Center in Flagler.
Opal was preceded in death by her parents, her husband one brother Elbert Olson and her daughter Judi Staatz.
She is survived by her granddaughter Jennifer Staatz of Burlington,
a son-in-law Jr. Staatz of Burlington as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dadson were held on Monday, Feb 11, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church in Flagler with Pastor James Elmshauser officiating. Burial followed in the Flagler Cemetery in Flagler. Visitation was held on Monday, Feb 11, 2008, one hour prior to funeral services at the church.
