Mary was the daughter of J. A. Gibson and Margaret Wilson, marrying in Sheridan, Iowa in 1871. Mary married J. R. Punshon of Morton, Kanss, Clara married a Kirkpatrick, Nellie a Moore, both of Colordo Springs, Mrs. A. L. BUrkey of Alma, John L. GIbson of Alma, and Bessie Gibson of home in Alma, Harlan County, Nebraska.


Minnie A. Punshon was in Norton County, Kansas in 1900, 7, born in Nebraska, with John R. Punshon 43 born at sea, Mary M. 28 Iowa, Clifford T. 4 Nebraska, and her cousin Loyd A. Livingston 15 born in Kansas.

(Loyd A. Livingston, 25, son of Frank Livingston and Elizabeth Punshon, married Clara B. Howell, 17, on March 16, 1911 in Fort Madioson, Iowa.

In 1910 Kit Carson County, John is farming, 44, Mary M. 38, Thomas C. 14, and John R. 2.

John and Mary Punshon are in Colorado Springs in 1940, living alone.
This census said John was born in Kansas.

John 1866-1945 # 35031701 and Mary M. 1872-1964 # 35031702 are buried in Colorado Springs.

Colo .'m 1908 but came to Colorado Springs Mr Punshon died in 1945. She is survived by two sons, J. Ray Punshon, of Colorado Springs, and Thomas C. Punshon of Salt Lake City: a daughter, Mrs. Minnie Alexan,,,

In 1885 Norton County, Kansas, J. J. Alexander is 44, born in North Carolina Mary E. Alexander 43 Iowa, Kate Alexander 17 Indiana, Lou Alexander 15 Indiana, Sarah Alexander 13 Kansas, Carl Alexander 10 Kansas, Nanie Alexander 8 Kansas, Nettie Alexander 6 Kansas, and Paul Alexander 2 Kansas.

Jabez Johnson Alexander 1850-1918 is buried in Norton # 48296280, with Mary E. Brown his wife 1851-1922 # 48296281.
So is Nettie Gertrude Alexander 1889-1957 # 48296283.

In 1915 Russell County, Kansas, Carl is 30, Minnie A. 21, and daughter M.F. 2 born in Colorado.

In 1920 Kit Carson County, Bethune precinct, Carl is farming, 34, born in Kansas, with Minnie 26 Nebraska. Fern 6 and Fay 1 were born in Colorado.


In 1930 Fowler, Otero County, Colorado, Carl is a lumberman, 45, Wilda 36, Ferne M. 17, and Faye M. 11.

M. Ferne Alexander of Fowler married Mahlon A. Youngren on April 16, 1933.

In 1940 they're in Pueblo, Mahlon managing a gasoline station 28, "Mildred" 27, Philip M. 5, and Donald J. 4.

Alwida is in Pueblo, Colorado in 1940, 46, with Faye 21, both seamstresses.

Carl Alexander is in Pueblo in 1940, too, 54, lodging with the Lillian Skifvars household.
He's a lumber salesman.

Minnie is buried in Pueblo, with the tombstone "Wilda Alexander" 1893-1967 # 30731546.



Mahlon Youngren, born May 16, 1911, served in the Navy 1944-1945, dying March 20, 1982.
His parents Axel Youngren 1871-1934 and Anna Regina Youngren 1869-1933 are buried in Pueblo.

Donald James Youngren born August 10, 1935 in Pueblo, died December 26, 1995.

In 1952 Eugene D. Ikenberry (Faye) is manager of the Security Life and Accident Company, living at 416 @. 20th in Pueblo.
By 1950, Eugene D. and Faye Ikenberry resided at that address. Eugene was the officer-in-charge of the Veterans Administration office in Pueblo.
The house has 936 square feet, built in 1929. Elizabeth McCloskey, assistant director of nursing at the State Hospital, rsideed there in 1955.

January 1970 Alton, Illinois "Miss Margaret Ann Walker, of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Walker, 2823 Ridgedale Dr., Godfrey, became the bride of Douglas John Ikenberry at a 7 o'clock ceremony Saturday evening, in the First Presbyterian Church. Dr. Cortley Burroughs officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Soloist John Nivens was accompanied by Dr. Robert Oklham. Her sister, Mrs. Richard Fuderich. served as matron of . Miss Patricia Walker younger sister of the bride Mrs. Jack Tighe of Tucson Ariz., Mrs. Terry Connors of Alamogordo, N.M., and Miss Mary Cox of Chicago were bridesmaids.
The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Ikenberry of Englewood, Colo., had Rick Mueller of Valparaiso, Ind, as his best man. Groomsmen were John Parnell of Denver, Colo. Frank Clark of Atlanta, Ga. Randy Harmon, cousin of the bride; and Richard Fuderich of Godfrey. After the the couple met guests in the living room of the church. A reception at Country Club followed. The new Mrs. Ikenberry was graduated from the University of Colorado in January 1969 with a bachelor of arts degree in English. She is employed by Hamilton Mutual Funds in Denver, Colo. Mr. Ikenberry, a graduate of the University of Denver, is employed by RCA in Denver. He is a member of Lambda Chi social fraternity. The couple will make their home in Denver."

Faye Ikenberry, born May 20, 1918, died in Pueblo in July 1980.

THOMAS

Thomas Clifford Punshon and Gertrude L. Harrison married in Kit Carson County on October 8, 1916.

Thomas is the city clerk in 1930 Burlington, with Bertrude both 34, Leona 12, and Thomas E. 9.

In 1940 Thomas is a construction supervisor in Boulder, with Bertrude both 44, Thomas 19 and Leona 22.

1956 Eagle County, Colorado "Thomas Punshon, who has charge of repair work of the school building, spent Saturday in Red Cliff. The school board expects to have the new gymnasium completed sometime before basketball season is over. Reconstruction of the gym began Wednesday."

Thomas is buried in Salt Lake County 1896-1977 # 83509097, with Lue Viva June (Wilbur) Punshon 1919-1998.

JOHN RAY

John Ray Punshon was born in Brown County, Kansas in 1907, dying in El Paso County in October 1989, buried there # 35031700, with Imogene AUdrey Punshon 1906-1990.

In 1922 John Ray Punshon was a pharmacist in Seibert, Colorado.

J. Ray Punshon, 21, married Imogene A. Calvin on August 6, 1928 in Colorado Springs.

John, a truck driver, and Imogene A., both 23, are in Colorado Springs in 1930.

He's a plumber helper in 1940 Colorado Springs, with Imogene.
October 31, 1989 "JOHN RAY PUNSHON, 82, of Colorado Springs died Saturday at a local health care center. He had been a plumber with Jackson & Thomas Plumbing and a heating and plumbing engineer. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Ave. Services will be at I p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Glenn O. McPherson officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Punshon was born Aug. 14, 1907, in Norton, Kan., to John R. and Mary M. (Gibson) Punshon. He had lived in Colorado Springs since 1929. Mr. Punshon served in the Army from 1942 until 1945 and attained the rank of corporal. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Plumbers Union Local 58.
He was married Aug. 6, 1928, in Colorado Springs, to Imogene A. Calvin, who survives. Mr. Punshon also is survived by a nephew, Thomas E. of Denver."
