George Paulsen passed away August 14, 1940, at Porter Sanatorium, Denver,
following a long illness of five years duration.
Mr. Paulsen was born September 20, 1902, in Denmark. Previous to his retirement,
he did lawn work at Fairmount Cemetery. He is a member of the
Danish Brotherhood Lodge No. 43. He is survived by his wife, May Paulsen
and a son, George, Jr. Mr. Paulsen was interested in everything for the
improvement of his community, and his passing is much regretted by his neighbors and many friends."
"Mrs. May Paulsen, late of Cunningham District, passed away quietly
Thursday evening, January 7, 1943, at her home. She and her only son,
George Paulsen, Jr., had just returned January 6th, from spending
Christmas with her folks in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. G. Bielas, are here making arrangements for the future.
Mrs. Paulsen was born in New York City on May 1, 1908.
The services were held at Olinger Drawing room, Monday, January 11, 1943
by Rev. George F. Sevier. She is at rest in Fairmount cemetery. The sincere sympathy of everyone Is extended to the sorrowing family."
