William's parents Shelby W. Lamar and Sarah Jane Howard married in Macoupin County, Illinois on May 27, 1847.

In 1860 Macoupin County, Illinois, Shelby W. is 35, Sarah J. 33, John G. 12, Martha M. 10, Margaret J. 8, Eleanor A. 6, James T. 5, and Serena C. 2.

(Cyrene Lamar and Philip "Heinrich" had Charles Shelby Heinrich, who died February 17, 1955 in Spokane, age 77.
Philip Humrich, age 69, in 1920 Aurora, Nebraska, said he was widowed.
Philip Addison Humrich 1851-1936 is buried in Aurora, Nebraska # 46516821.
Cyrena C. Humrich 1859-1942 is buried in Loveland # 31728325.
"Cyrena C. Humrich died at the home of her son, Reuben Humrich, at Beaver Point last Saturday at the age of 93. Born in McLaughlin county, Missouri, on February 8, 1849, Mrs. Humrich moved to Estes Park six years ago and has since made this her home. She is the widow of Philip Humrich and the mother of eleven children, four of which are dead.
Surviving her are Levi and Crant Humrich of Aurora, Nebr.; Chas. Humrich and Mrs. Lottie Alexander of Spokane, Wash.; Ralph Humrich, Burlington, Colo.; and Calvin and Reuben Humrich of Estes Park. Also surviving are 43 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from the Kibbey Funeral Home in Loveland on Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. E. A. West conducted the service and Mrs. Arthur E. Armstrong, accompanied by Airs. Clarence Herrin, sang “Son of My Soul” and “One Sweetly Solemn Thought.’ ’ Pallbearers were Rev. F. I. Waters, L. W. \V T ilson, Bert Sloan, Luke Cole, Robert Lancaster and Judd Newton. Interment was in the Estes Park plot of the Loveland cemetery.")

1922 Kiowa County "Mrs. Arch Swaim visited her sister Mrd. Chas. Humrich last Saturday."

April 1925 Kiowa County "Grandma Humrich, who has been visiting her son, Charles, and family the past five months, left on Saturday morning for Burlington. She was accompanied hy C. S. Humrich and his sons Levi and Gerald, also by Imy Weir, all of whom remained for a short visit with relatives, returning on Sunday evening."

March 1926 Kiowa County "The Calvin Humrich family from near Burlington is visiting at C. S. Humrich's."

June 1926 Kiowa County "Mrs. Ralph Humrich and two children and Mrs. Carl Morgan and two children all of Burlington, Colorado arrived at the Charles Humrich home Saturday. They returned Sunday taking Grandma Humrich with them."

Ralph R. Humrich 1896-1966 is buried in Burlington # 89567293, with Frrna Rosa Humrich 1895-1975.

Eolia L. Humrich 1903-1924 is buried in Flagler # 27163282 "Daughter of Mr.a nd Mrs. E. Neider."


"Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Humrich were in Holly Saturday. Mrs. Humrich had some dental work done."

June 1927 Kiowa County, Colorado "Levi Humrich spent Saturday night at Calvin Humrichs and Kenneth Humrich spent the night at C. S. Humrlch's.
Towner schools having closed Saturday our students, Fern Humrich and Kurtz Clapper are home for the summer vacation."

1936 Estes Park "Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Bradbury of Abilene, Kansas, and Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Humrich of Vona, Colorado, have been spending a few days sightseeing in the Park. They have been houseguests of R. F. Humrich and family. "

1940 Estes Park "Mrs. Rosa Yarbrough, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. Calvin Humrich, for the past week, returned to her home in El Paso, Texas, last Friday."

December 4, 1942 "Services will be held for Lyle Humrich, 26, this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Kibbey Funeral Home in Loveland. The young man was the victim of an accident shortly after noon Nov. 30 while hunting elk north of the Stanley hotel.
He was born Dec. 2, 1916, in Greeley, Colo., and had made his home in the Village for the past six years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margaret Gay Humricli; two small children, Leroy, age 4, and Virginia, age 3; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Humrich; a sister, Bonnie, and brother, Donald, all of Estes Park. Another brother, Kenneth, is serving with the U. S. Army overseas, and a sister, Miss Betty Humrich, is taking nurse's training at the Orange hospital, Orange, Calif. The latter arrived here last night to attend her brother's funeral."

In 1880 Jewell County, Kansas, William is 18, with father S.W. "Laman" 57. Susan is 16 and Frederick 12.

In 1900 Norton County, Kansas, William is farming, born July 1861, married 15 years to Susan Oct 1835, both born in Illinois. Arthur May 1885, Anna Oct 1889, James Mar 1894, and Levi March 1896 were born in Kansas.

In 1910 Kit Carson County, Wm. J. Lemarr is 47, Susan E. 43, both born in Illinois, ANNA C. 21, James W. 15, Levi O. 12, Karl H. 5, Ellen C. 3, all kids born in Kansas..
Fay H. Murphy 34 is a farm laborer, born in Iowa.

William proved up a quarter in section 5, 8S 51W in 1913.

July 1921 "Robert Knott, president of the Akron Realty and Investment company of Akron, Colo., and brother-in-law of Mrs. M. V. Shonyo of Salida, dropped dead at 18th and Champa streets, Denver, Monday morning when a cannon cracker thrown by a street urchin exploded at his feet. Witnesses said he jumped, startled by the explosion, then collapsed on the sidewalk. Death was due to heart failure brought on by fright. He was 76 years old. He was alone when the end came and was identified by a note from his busines partner. Mr. Knott was the husband of a sister of Mr. M. V. Shonyo and Mrs. P. G. Conover of Denver, who died in 1908. They had lived in Salem. S. D. until a few years ago when he went to Akron where he was in business. He was active and in very good health before his death which came ns a shock to all who knew him."

LeMarr, Arthur Earnest is buried in Flagler.

1918 Loveland "Mr. and Mrs. H. McBride and baby arrived this morning from Flagler, Colo., to be the guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Lemarr in Lincoln Ave. for a time. Mr. and Mrs. Mcßride are planning on making Loveland their future home. "

William J. Lemarr stock-claimed 480 acres in section 29, 11S 73W (Park County, Colorado in 1926 for Stock RFaising.

In 1940 Susan Lemarr, 74, is living with Mark 39 and Ellen 32 Milligan in Colorado Springs, with Betty Jo 9 and Jack H. 7.

William Jackson Lemarr 1861-1935 is buried in Colorado Springs # 35063942, with Susan Emeline (Howard) Lemarr 1866-1950 buried in Phoenix # 18461881.
"Susan E. Lemarr, female, White, widowed, was born October 6, 1866 in Illinois. Father: Henry Howard, born Illinois. Mother; unknown Crump, born Illinois."

Arthur E. Lemarr is farming in 1910 Wallace County, Kansas, 26, single.

JAMES

September 23, 1920 Loveland "Miss Alma Swift and James Lemarr went to Fort Collins this morning where they procured a license to wed. In the afternoon they went before Judge Bouton, who tied the matrimonial knot. The bride is the charming daughter of Mrs. R. R. Hallam and looked very sweet and girlish in a white georgette and satin gown. She lived in Loveland several years ago before going to Oklahoma and returned from that state about a year ago. Her sweet disposition and retiring manner have gained her many friends. Mr. Lemarr is a well known and enterprising young man. The young people will reside on North Lincoln avenue. "

September 24 Fort Collins "Mr. James W. Lemarr and Miss Alma Swift of Lovoland were married in the chambers of the County Court by Judge Bouton Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the happy couple taking the afternoon train back to Loveland immediately after the ceremony. The bride, who is only 16, was accompanied by her mother, Mrs. R. R. Hallam, who gave her consent to the marringe."
1921 Loveland "Mrs. W. J. LeMarr visited her son James in Fort Collins Monday. "

"Alma Herthel Swift married James Walter LeMarr 23 Sep 1920 Fort Collins, Larimer Co., Colorado. She was the daughter of John Dean Swift and Rebecca Right Seamster."

In 1930 Loveland, Anna Hull Lemarr is 39, born in Nebraska, husband Levi 35 Kansas, with a niece Dorothy Huull 4 born in Colorado.

Anna was in Burt County, Nebraska in 1900, with Frank F. Hull 40, Martha Hull 36, Cornelus Hull 16, Jerusia Hull 15, Clara Hull 12, Grace Hull 10, Sarah Hull 8, Wyatt Hull 6, Berthe Hull 4, and Lilley Hull 2.

1928 Loveland, Colorado

Levi Lemarr died November 28, 1936, buried in Colorado Springs.

Grace is in Loveland in 1940, divorced, with niece Martha Jenson 20 born in Nebraska. Martha was in Lake County, South Dakota in 1935.

Martha was in Corson County, South Dakota in 1930, the youngest of Ralph W. Jenson 46 and Jane Jenson 45's kids.

CARLOS

Carlos, a traveling salesman, is living with his sister Anna in 1930 COlorado Springs.

He registered for WWII in Paducah, Texas, working for the Fedral Life and Casualty Co, next of kin Thomas J. Evasn.

Carlos 66, married Marie K. Loebl 65 in Los Angeles in 1971.

Carlos H. Lemarr 1904-1982 is buried in Glendale, California # 85450303.

ELLEN

Ellen Clarissa "Lamarr" and Mark Henry Milligan married in Colorado Springs on September 11, 1926. (Mark H. Milligan and Alta M. Kelley divorced in 1926 in Michigan. They had married in 1921._ May, 31 and Duane 7 were in Michigan in 1930. Alta 1899-1932 died in Ann Arbor, per # 122944303.

Jackson H. Milligan, age 87, passed away on February 9, 2020 in Glendale, AZ after suffering a stroke. Jackson was born November 12, 1932 in Colorado Springs, CO to Mark & Ellen C. Milligan. The family moved to Tolleson, AZ in 1942. While a student at Tolleson High School, he was a member of the Track & Field Team. As a teenager he worked cattle with his father in the feed lots, as well as doing tractor & tilling work. Jackson served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict as a Platoon Sergeant. Following his military service he worked for Garrett/Allied Signal/Honeywell for 38 yrs until retiring in 1993 as a Master Design Engineer. Jackson was also a member of Masonic Lodge #43 and a 6-time All Around Cowboy at Cliff Garrett Memorial Rodeo, primarily riding bulls and bareback broncs. Services will be held at a later date."

Ellen C. Milligan, born Jan 13, 1906 in Kansas to William J. Lemarr and Susan Howard, died in Maricopa County on January 8, 1953. She's buried in Phoenix # 153556407, with Mark H. Milligan 1901-1974

ANNA
Anna C. Lemarr and Fay W. Murphy married in Kit Carson County on January 1, 1913.


Anna claimed two quarters in section 5, 8S 51W in 1914.
