Twilla died in Florida # 104958340 "On January 22, 2013, at the age of 100 years, six months and 27 days, the gates of Heaven opened up and welcomed Twila M. Hopkins with harps and joyous laughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Hopkins, daughter, Ann Dittmer, a granddaughter and great grandson, together with numerous family members and friends. She will be honored and missed as her life continues to touch those of us remaining here on earth. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions can be made to: St. Vrain Manor, 606 Pratt, #106, Longmont, CO 80501 in Twila's name."
Beverly Ann Hopkins was born in Imperial to Russell R. Hopkins and Twila M. Robinson, dying January 29, 1996 as Beverly Ann Dittmer.
Theresa 'Teri' A. Nelson passed away September 25, 2019 at Longs Peak Hospital. She was 65 years old.
Teri was born on August 27, 1954 in Boulder, CO to William and Ann (Hopkins) Dittmer. She grew up in Longmont and graduated from Longmont High School in 1973.
After graduating from high school, Teri attended Beauty School in Longmont. On May 28, 1994, she married Michael Nelson. Teri worked for numerous salons in the Longmont area ,including DJ Everetts.
Teri was a member of First Baptist Church in Longmont her entire life and participated in Bible Study Fellowship. She enjoyed playing the harp and gardening and loved to travel.
She was preceded in death by her son, Aaron Wierema; her parents; and her infant sister, Lynn.
Teri is survived by her husband, Michael; her son, Jacob Wierema; her grandson, Logan Wierema; her sister, Janette (Dittmer) Chalmers; and numerous cousins.
