MILDRED

Mildred Esther Holden was born at Flagler on May 4, 1919. She married Daniel L. Crain on June 1, 1938 in Burlington.

In 1940 Daniel's parents Joel W. 47 and Mary 51, both born in Missouri, are in Falgler, running a service station.
Next to them are Daniel 24, Mildred 20, and Jesse L. 1, all born in Colorado.

Daniel registered for WWII in Flagler, with his father J. W. Crain of Flagler as his reference.
Mildred 1919-1997 # 102984981 and Daniel 1916-1986 are buried in Tumwater, Washington.

So are his father Joel W. Crain 1882-1964 and mother Mary Etta Crain 1882-1975 # 37713818.

CLARENCE

Clarence 'Chuck' Holden 1921-1986 is buried in Tulsa County, Oklahoma # 13456919, on a stone with Betty L. June 30, 19

His son Ronald is buried in Oklahoma City # 205581096.
"Ronald 'Ronnie' Holden, was born May 13, 1949 in Stillwater, OK to Clarence “Chuck” and Betty Holden. He went to his Lord and savior on December 14, 2019 in Yale, Oklahoma. He graduated from Berryhill High School in 1967, then went on to earn a degree in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University. He served his country in the Army Airborne division.
Ronnie cherished the family farm in Flagler, CO, spending many vacations there. He enjoyed the outdoors and taught his sons to hunt and fish. He had a passion for muscle cars, passing that passion onto his sons. Family came first for Ronnie and was his primary passion. He enjoyed getting together with family and friends as often as possible. Ronnie never met a stranger, many times turning a 10 minute conversation into hours. He liked to share his love for the Lord with those around him.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Clarence 'Chuck' Holden.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Holden; wife, Charleene Holden; sister, Diane Holden-Mathey and husband Bob; sons: Mark Holden and wife Stacey, Tim Holden and wife Tiffany, and Jeff Holden; stepson, Chuck Slayton; grandchildren: Bryson, Gracie, Sutter, Ava, Lilla, Afton, Kambyr, Katelynn, and Charles; two great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. "

IRENE

Irene M. Holden and Norman W. Barnum 23, born in Philadelphia, married in Pierce County Washington on December 4, 1943.

In 1947 Irene Barnum, wife of Norman William Barnum, was in Pueblo, Colorao, when Norman applied for work at the Colorado Fuel and *ron Corporation.

Norman 1920-2000 is buried in Newton County, Missouri # 36353354, with Irene M. 1922-2010 # 129956551.
Irene died in Shreveport, Louisiana, "Graveside services for Irene Maye Barnum, 87, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2010 at Diamond Cemetery in Diamond, Mo under the direction of Clark Funeral home, Neosho, Mo. Officiating will be Rev. Freddie Franks. Mrs. Barnum was born June 7, 1922 in Flagler, Co. to Charles Lewis and Iva Van Syoc Holden and died Saturday, March 13, 2010 in Shreveport, La. She was a member of Central Assembly of God. Her husband, Norman W. Barnum, Sr., four brothers, three sisters and two grandchildren preceded her in death.
She is survived by sons, Norman W. Barnum, Jr. and wife Elaine of Lansdale, Pa, John R. Barnum and wife Stella of Haughton, La, Lorey M. Barnum of Diamond, Mo; daughters Denova Aucoin of Shreveport, La; sister, Lillian Hanley of Portland, Or; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. "

"Graveside services will be conducted at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery for Danny E. Aucoin, age 53 of Shreveport, La. on Thursday July 13, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Harold Bagnetto of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church. Mr. Aucoin entered into rest on Tuesday July 11, 2006 at his residence after a brief illness with cancer. He was born in Vivian, La. and lived in Shreveport, for most of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Denova Aucoin; his mother, Cherry Aucoin and James Law; his grandmother, Zelda Dale; his daughter, Heather McKean ; step daughter, Debbie Martin; sister, Judy Morvan and husband Buddy; two brothers, David Aucoin and Ronnie Aucoin and wife Sharon; grandson, Robert Franklin Aucoin.

BYRON

Byron is buried in Thurston County, Washington 1924-1979 # 41416237.
One son Riley 1963-1965 # 13491195 is buried in Flagler.

"Margaret Rose Holden-Matlock, age 82 years, of Hunter, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 in Hunter. Margaret was born April 23, 1933 In Edmond, Kansas to William Sager and Margaret (Craig) Sager.
She married Byron Holden September 9, 1951. Together they had 14 children. They had a farm in Colorado, and while Byron was tending the farm, Margaret was busy as a stay at home mom. They were married 28 years until Byron’s passing in 1979.
She then married Raymond Matlock on February 22, 1982 and they were married 25 years until he passed in 2007. Raymond was a truck driver and Margaret enjoyed traveling the country with him. Margaret’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and many grandchildren. Margaret was a devoted Christian and was active in her church, teaching Sunday School at her church in Olympia, Washington. Faith was important to her.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Byron Holden and Raymond Matlock, parents, William and Margaret, two sons, Riley Scott Holden, and Donald Ivan Holden; two sisters, Wilma and Betty, and one brother, William.
She is survived by her children, Larry, Barbra, Stanley, Dwight, Henry, Thomas, Marilyn, Daniel, Dorothy, Paul, Timothy, and Ralph; seven step-children; twenty-nine grandchildren; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Celebration of Life and Remembrance ~ Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at United Methodist Church of Hunter. Reverend Michelle McCarty will officiate. Burial was in White Cemetery.
