Their parents were Ferdinand and Henrietta Hohenstein.

Lorena Minnie Hohenstein was born in Flagler on June 18, 1915, dying as Lorena Davis on November 10, 2000.
She's buried in Fort Logan # 30014105, with Arthur E. Davis 1913-1997.

ALMA

Alma Henrietta Thyssen was born Sept 26, 1920, dying in Bay City, Texas on May 14, 1978, wife of V.E. Thyssen. She was a tax collector in Bay City. Burial was to be in the Lutern Cemetery in Danavang, Texas # 39083636.

HARTWIN

In 1940 Hartwin is an attendant at the Colorado Psychopathic Hospital, 30, rooming wtih Grace Cope, 51, divorced, born in Massachusetts. Hartwin was in Flagler in1935. .

Hartwin Raymond Hohenstein registered for WWII in Denver, still working at the hospital ar 4200 E. 9th Avenue, Denver. He was born August 19, 1909 in Flagler.
He lived at 4645 E. Colfax, next of kin was William Hohenstein of Route 1, Flagler.

Hartwin is buried in Littleton 1909-1968 # 188224430.

ERWIN

Erwin W. Hohenstein and Jennie A. Dewey married in Kit Carson County on November 25, 1937.

He's farming in Kit Carson County in 1940, 26, with Jennie A. 26, both born in Colorado. Jennie's sister Iva M. Dewey 14 born in Nebraska is with them, and four lodgers.

She died in Mesa, per # 82318786.
"Jennie Hohenstein, age 93, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away December 18, 2006. Visitation will be from from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel. Services will be at 11:00 AM, at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway, Mesa, AZ. Arrangements entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park & Funeral Care."
