In 1920 Kit Carson County, she's widowed, 46, with daughter Marie Ford 22 and her husband Larence Ford, 23.

She was born June 6, 1874 in Atchison, Kansas to Walter Bishop and Susan Lane.

George Oliver Gates 1871-1944 is buried in Flagler # 21496689.
" In 1884, at age 13 years, George Oliver Gates went to live with this sister, Sarah Frances (Gates) White (she was age 25 years at that time), after their mother Harriet (Sponsler) Gates died.
Earlier, Sarah and her husband John White had adopted Elizabeth "Lizzie" Bishop 1873-1945. Lizzie was given the White surname.
When George Oliver went to live with the White family, he was 13 years old and that Elizabeth `Lizzie` was 11 years.
In 1889, these two unrelated children who had grown up together, were married. George was 18 and Lizzie was 16.
George Oliver became a prominent member of the Flagler community, he was known to be serving on the Town Council as County Clerk in 1907.
In 1905, their second oldest daughter, Elsie Elizabeth, aged 13 years, 2 months, 3 days, died. Elsie is buried in the Flagler Cemetery.
Although George Oliver was in Denver, Colorado when he died in 1944, his request was to be buried beside his daughter Elsie Elizabeth, in Flagler, Kit Carson County, Colorado. "

Donald M. Gates is in Oakland, California in 1940, 40, with Ada A. 42, Lillian A. 24 and Elenore H. 23.
