In 1880 Colfax County, Nebraska, George T. Cartwright is 36, Mary B. 37, Joshua V. 10, Rose E. 9, GEORGE. P. 4 and Elsie A. 3.

Purl claimed a quarter in section 17, 8S 51W in 1908.
Purl G. Cartwright 31, and Myrtle Fults married on Nov 18, 1908 in Beaver City, Nebraska.

In 1910 Montrose County, Purl is farming, 33, born in Nebraska, married two years to Myrtle 21 Nebraska. They're with brother-in-law Clarence O. Dotto 35 Iowa and Elsie A. 32 Nebraska and thier kids Chris C. 9 Colordo, Rita E. 7 and Avis 4 in Nebraska.
Elsie A. Cartwright, 22, married C. O. Dotts on June 8, 1898 in Fort Collins.

1914 Delta " J. E. Clark came in from Grand Junction Sunday morning and has established his crispett manufacturing machine in this city. He and his partner. P. G. Cartwright, have alreadv built up a fair demand for crispet on the western slope considering present conditions of business but they estimate that the work can be done just as well from this point as from Grand Junction and they are now located on the corner of Main and Fifth streets, just one door south of Independent office."

September 1915 " Among arrivals Tuesday were Mrs. Grace Livingstone and little son, who will visit for a time with the former's sister, Mrs. C. O. Dotts and family, and with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cartwright. Their home is in Oregon."

"The death of Mrs. George T. Cartwright, 73 years of age, occurred at 10:30 last Tuesday evening , November 16, 1915, at the home of her daughter, Mrs C. O. Dotts, on Howard street, following a prolonged illness of heart trouble. Mrs. Cartwright came to this city with her husband from their old home in Nebraska about three months ago to spend the winter, and hoping that the change in altitude and climate would prove beneficial to her health She seemed to feel fairly well for a time, and then began to decline ami has been confined to her bed for three or four weeks.
She leaves to mourn her demise a husband, three daughters, Mrs. Elsie Doris of this city, Mrs. Rose Lee of Arcade, New York, Mrs Grace Livingston of Dunkee, Oregon, and one son. P. G. Cartwright of this city. The other surviving relatives are two brothers, A P. Brodwell of Lebanon. Nebraska, Vincent Brodwell of Baker City, Oregon, and a sister, Mrs. Esther Garrett, of Morrell, Nebraska. Funeral services were held at the Dotts home at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon, Rev. C. B. Steele officiating, and interment was in Delta cemetery."

"On Friday morning, April 18, 1919, George T. Cartwright closed his eyes in death and entered that bourne from which no man returns. His was a useful life. He was born in Meigs county, Ohio, June 13, 1844. He enlisted in the Second West Virginia Cavalry, Co. A., August 5, 1861, at the age of 17 years, and served until July 3, 1865.
On December 25, 1868 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Bordwell. They resided a number of years in Nebraska, and came to Delta four years ago, his wife passing away the following November in this city. Two sons and three daughters were born to the union, four of whom survive the parents.
They are: P. G. Cartwright and Mrs. C. O. Dotts of Delta. Mrs. Grace Livingstone, of Roseburg, Oregon, and Mrs. Rose Lee. of Arcade, New York. Mr. Cartwright was a consistent Christian, upright and honorable, and loved by all. His kind, cheery voice will be missed, not alone by his family but by everyone who knew him. Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church Sunday afternoon by Rev. George F. Klein, and were attended by the members of the G. A. R. and W. R. C. in a body, as well as many sorrowing friends who met to pay this last tribute to the memory of one they loved. The casket was covered with beautiful flowers. His age was 74 years, 10 months and 5 days."

Purl George Cartwright registered for WWI in Delta County, a real estate broker, relative George T. Cartwright of Delta.

Myrtle, 31, is in Furnas County in 1920, now married to Ray O. Little. She's a stenographer at the court house.
She's buried there 1888-1971 # 68627939, with Ray O. Little 188-1945.

Delta Johnston was in Delta in 1910, 23, with father Matthew J. Johnston 59 and three siblings.

In 1930 Los Angeles County, Purl is mining, 53, with Delta M. 42 born in Colorado.
Purl G. Cartwright, born July 9, 1877, died Nov 5, 1960 in San Bernardino County.
"Purl George Cartwright, 83, of 993 3rd St., died Saturday in a San Bernardino hospital. A native of Nebraska, he had lived in California 39 years, in San Bernardino 14 years. Surviving him is a sister, Mrs. V. G. Williams, Grand Junction, Colo. Graveside rites directed by Stephens & Bobbitt"

Delta M. Cartwright, father Johnston, born Nov 17, 1886 in Colorado, died May 5, 1951 in San Bernardino County.

"Mrs. Delta M. Cartwright, 64, died at her home, 3957 North E street yefterday. A native of Colorado, she was a resident of California for 31 years, of San Bernardino for 7U years. She is survived by her husband, Purl George Cartwright of San Bernardino and two sisters, Mrs. Dora Henning and Miss Willie Johnston, both of San Diego. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Kremer Funeral home. Concluding services will follow in Mountain View cemetery."
