Edith claimed a quarter in section 13, 8S 50W, also in 1912.

Benton Co., Iowa, married
Edith Chick 9 Jun 1915 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. His parents were Joseph Hiller
and Delphine Nichols. Edith was 30, born in Lee County, Illinois
to Ivary Chick and Priscilla Punchey.
"Ivery" Chick and Priscilla, both 26, are
in La Salle County, Illinois in 1880, with
Florence 8 and Tena 1. Priscilla's sister Ella Punchey is 10.
Tena might have died in Chicago 29 Jun 1884 - Tena Chick, age 5,
born at Compton, Illinois, bured in Calvary Cemetery.
1901 Sioux City, Iowa "Mrs. Chastena E. Chick, a widow of Mendota, Illinois
, was at police headquarters yesterday in search of her son,
Ivory S. Chick. She said she last heard from him in Sioux City in March,
1898, when he was working as a painter. The police were unable to
locate Chick or find anyone who knew him. Mrs. Chick was greatly
disappointed. He was their only son."
1903 Saint Paul, Minnesota "REWARD Ivory S. Chick;
he is middle-aged, a painter and decorator by trade;
do not know his occupation of late; anyone who knows of his
whereabouts or anything of him in the last year, to help trace him,
will confer a great favor by informing his aged mother who
is a widow and alone; $10 dollars will be given to the person who will put me In communication with - him. Please address Mrs. Chastina E. Chick. 512 East Fifth St., Mendota, La Salle Co., Illinois.
Priscilla Runchey Chick, age 79, was buried in 1934 in Marion, Linn County, IOwa # 138405705.
In 1930 Cherokee County, Iowa, Archie is farming, 51 married but no spouse. His widowed brother Delphine is 68, and his siter Grace 47 is single. His adopted son Howard is 30,.

Edith was in Cedar Rapids in 1940, 55, and her brother Roy G. Chick 32 is with her.
Roy G. Chick was born May 11, 1888 in Woodbury County, Iowa to Ivory S. Chick of Illinois and Priscilla "Runchey" of Canada.
Archie, 78, born in Black Hawk County, residing in Pierson,
died in Sioux City in 1961.
" Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at
the Meadow Star Evangelical United Brethren Church near
Washta for Archie E. Hiller, 78, resident of the Pierson
community many years, who died at a Sioux City nursing home
Tuesday after a long illness. Rev. Myron Brockmeyer, pastor
of the Methodist Church of Kingsley, Iowa, will officiate
in the absence of the church's pastor. Burial will be in
the Grand Meadow Twp. Cemetery under direction of the
Dickison Funeral Home of Kingsley.
Mr. Hiller was born in Black Hawk Co., Iowa, May 22, 1878.
He married Edith Chick June 9, 1915, at Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Mrs. Hiller died in 1954. He was a member of the Meadow Star
Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Miss Grace Hiller of Pierson
and Mrs. Mary Honeywell of Sioux City; and a brother,
Howard Hiller of Pierson."
