In 1900 Labette County, Kansas, Frederic Ferrier, born Feb 1846 in Germany, married 27 years to Elza January 1854 in Ohio, with George Jan 1874, Harry C. Feb 1876, Catherine L. July 1878, A. Leann January 1881, Mary A. March 1873, CHARLES W. Jaune 1887, Cora June 1891, and Alice F. Feb 1897, all kids born in Kansas.

Frederic 1845-1906 and Eliza M. Ferrier 1854-1906 are buried in Altamont.
Eliza was in Labette County in 1870, age 16, born in Canada, with father John 46. Catharine iswas 12, Charles J. 11, and Nancy 9.


In 1910 Kit Carson County, Flagler, Charles W. Ferrier is 22, single, born in Kansas, a plumber, living alone.
His father was born in Germany, his mother in Canada.

Charlie claimed 280 acres in sections 34 and 35, 8S 50W in 1914.

Charles Walter Ferrier registered for WWI in Altamont, Labette County, Kansas, farming, married with one child, born June 1, 1887 at Edna, Kansas.

In 1920 Labette County, Charles is 32, Marie E. 22, Helen V. 3, all born in Kansas, and his sister mary Ferrier 37 born in Kansas.

Charles is buried in Altamont # 77276129.
"Charles was born on a farm six miles south and 2-1/2 miles west of Altamont. He grew up on that farm. In 1906, after the death of his parents, he lived in St. Louis for a brief time and from there went to Colorado and homesteaded a ranch near Flagler. In 1914 he returned to the Altamont area.
He was married to Eva Marie Stine of Edna in 1915 and they made their home on a farm a mile east of his birthplace. 3 years later they moved to the family home place. They remained there until 1948 when he retired and they moved to Oswego.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oswego and was a trustee in the church at the time of his death.
He and Eva had two daughters, Mrs. Charles Carter and Mrs. Fred Holmes."
