"CHARLES BURKHALTER was born in 1839 at Loram, Germany; settled in Doniphan county in 1859; residence, Troy; business, dealer in fresh and cured meats. "

Thanks to Deb Becker "The Charles Burckhalter that was born in Loram Germany in 1839 is the brother to the Henry thay married Hannah, and the George that are buried in Troy Kansas.
He is buried in Wymore, Nebraska."

Henry Burckhalter is buried in Mount Olive Cemetery, Troy, Kansas August 9, 1821-Feb 10, 1891>
So is George Burckhalter, July 4, 1831- November 28, 1875.

One WikiTree says that Hannah, born July 20, 1844 to Geroge Wesley Dutro and Mary Ann Armstrong, married Henry BUrkhalter on Nov 24, 1861 in Mskingum County, and died in Colorado.

In 1900 Kit Carson County, Charles F. 35, Albert E. 31, Henry L. 28 a teacher, and Florence M. Burkhalter, 26 are farming.

1901 Idalia, Yuma County "Dr. Burkhalter, the dentist, was in town all week."

Henry is a dentist in 1910 Saint Charles County, Missouri, 38, born in Ohio, in a boarding house.

Charles F. Burckhalter claimed a quarter in section 1, 8S 51W in 1909.

In 1930 Charles 66, and brother Albert A. Burkhalter 61 are both farm laborers, living with sister Florence Neff 56, all born in Ohio, and Florence's husband Oscar S. Neff 62 born in Illinois.

Charles F. Burckhalter 1864-1953 is buried in Flagler, # 22942067.

Albert Eugene Burckhalter received an Old Age Pension from the Kit Carson County Commissioners.
